Hi Monty.Great wee video.It`s a beautiful location and the weather was perfect for the bivvi bag .I have not forgotten about the tent.It`s still buried in a large cupboard and i have a lot of other suff on the menu at the moment but i can assure you that it`s going to be yours at some point in the near future.I don`t think , i know that your going to love this tent , and for your backpacking hill trips you can`t really go wrong with this trusty old reliable tent which NEVER let me down once and believe me it`s been out in some horrendous conditions.I will be in touch nearer the time. Do you have a tarp? Ideally you want to use it in the colder nights so you don't get attacked by beasties lol. A tarp does offer privacy which makes the experience easier and blocks wind. Good luck mate and thanks for supporting the channel as per :)

Looked a great spot and the weather was stunning for the little time it lasted back to snow and freezing temps here hopefully it's the last of it though. I was in the lakes with my summer set up but will be back in winter mode this weekend.

On the wild country tents, I'm sure the extra eyelet was so you could give the tent pole more tension, there is not more clips for holding more poles around the tent. Great video, cracking spot, keep it up big man.

Monty you sure living the dream, you go to some amazing places. I was out last sat also and was tiring losing a hours kip and it was the night I fell ill in the tent hence no sleep. Food looked amazing also. Never bivvy camped before, don't think that's for me though. I bet your not looking forward to all them midgys coming back out to cause hell. I've heard how bad it can get up there in Scotland. Guess we a little luckier in that sense, less midgys. Great video as usual monty. Catch you soon 👍

Bivvy's when you are all wrapped up and going to bed are warmer, but overall, a tent is more convenient. And the wee dog is a brilliant wee dog, one of the best wee dogs I've ever met and she loved it! Cheers Simon! Hope you are well mate and thanks again!
Beautiful pylons, so nice to see them roaming free in their natural environment. If you visit in windy weather you can often hear them sing their mournful tune.

Wow! Just when you thought the scenery in Scotland couldn’t get any nicer! What a great place to camp. Do you have any issues with Midges, Monty? Or is camping in summer in Scotland just not a good idea?
Thanks Richard and not really. A combination of fires and 95% deet keeps them at bay. That and rubbish weather lol. But I have been covered in them to the point their bite marks prevented me from sleeping... Midges are out between end of May to beginning of September, but only in conditions with no rain or wind and between certain temperatures. They can be avoided.
