My Allez Sprint is a 56 with a slammed 140mm stem. I'm 6 feet tall exactly. Best thing to do is compare the frame geometry but I would at least size down on this frame.
Companies weigh and advertise their bikes without bottle cages, pedals, computer mount, or power meter. This is industry practice and also how I weighed the bike. A spider-based power versus a tradition crankset only adds 50-100 grams.
might get this bike, kinda worried ab the fit what size do you think i should get if i ride a 54 in tarmac with a 100 mm stem? looking to get that longer and lower race geometry, maybe a 50 or a 52?
Looking at the geometry in comparison with sl7, if you are looking to get lower then 50 (7mm lower) may be the way to go. 52 has a higher stack. The reach for the 50 is actually about 1 mm more than the 54 in the tarmac. Have to add that the 50 more seems an almost match for the 54 tarmac. The 48 also seems an option and you can simply get a longer stem (110 vs your current 100). You get to be about 22mm lower than on your current tarmac
@@grant_dubs tarmac sl7 54 reach is 387, 50 on this bike is 388.9. If you want the same reach, use the same length stem you are using on the tarmac (100). There will be about a 2mm more reach

I'm looking at their silly website. Frame size availability is ridiculous. Nothing above a 54cm. No colors. Why have a separate description/photo for every size? Looks like they are more interested in E-Bikes. Looks like you can't buy anything yet.
@@PatrickLino crazy how bike marketing works nowadays. stiffer faster over 40km lighter more compliant. like all bikes we ever made. but special now: speed sniffer
@@leonschumann2361 and they completely ignore the fact that speed sniffer isn't a new design. It's like when Apple releases a new feature that's been on Androids for years.
The forks, bb, and the head tube arent deep enough to be aero optimized, plus the gap between the down tube and front wheel is quite large. I'm not sure why they wouldn't want to make an aero bike more aero. To save a few grams? Or maybe it's just an open mold we haven't seen before. You would think theyd want to sell more by making a faster bike instead of compromising with the same stuff we always see. Like despite the domanes weight at least it makes sense as an aero bike. The new sl8 is a joke but at least it's light and even lighter when it's split in half
I don't believe most if the aerodynamic claims in the bike industry today anyway. Both the rider and bike position ultimately have the greatest effect on aerodynamics/drag than any other part of the system. Also, a climbing bike with deep aero wheels will be more aero than an aero bike with shallow climbing wheels.
@@PatrickLino your right by saying the overall system matters. But basic principals still apply, like small frontal area, aero foil shapes, and decreasing gaps hence why deeper section wheels are faster. Also an aero frame with aero wheels is faster than non aero frame with said aero wheels. But that goes without saying although I'm just addressing part of your response. I think it safe to say not only could lower CDA claims be more believable with my alterations but the bike would look much better as it will flow and look more aggressive. Most ppl agree, including specialized dealers, the nose sniffer is busted coincidentally it's not aero optimized sticking a bump outside the frame in front is inferior to filling the gap inside the triangle. It's faster, and I think innately we know this which is why it looks aesthetically pleasing. It's said the sniffer was made to fix the recall problem they had with sl7 anyway.
Bro... This was a dope build! The frame reminds me of the Venge Vias, 🤔 specifically the down tube. For $700 bucks thats a steal! Are you enjoying the 1x setup? #RobbArmstrong
It's crazy how here in Chicago, you really only need 6 to 8 gears. So far the 1x is perfect because I never need to the largest or smallest cogs of the 10-30 cassette.
Again, I don't believe in the weight of the entire complete of 7.5kg, even though the carbon components are above average.. Next time weigh the whole bike before talking about weight.
No where in the video did I say the entire complete bike is 7.5kg. The standard practice of weighing bikes has always been without pedals, bottle cages, computer mount, and power meter. Next time listen more carefully, or do more research on how companies weigh their bikes.

I'm looking at their silly website. Frame size availability is ridiculous. Nothing above a 54cm. No colors. Why have a separate description/photo for every size? Looks like they are more interested in E-Bikes. Looks like you can't buy anything yet.
What website are you looking at? 🤣
Damnt it man...now I want one
The spending don’t stop
nah man not the sniffer
hahaha
@@PatrickLino crazy how bike marketing works nowadays. stiffer faster over 40km lighter more compliant. like all bikes we ever made. but special now: speed sniffer
@@leonschumann2361 and they completely ignore the fact that speed sniffer isn't a new design. It's like when Apple releases a new feature that's been on Androids for years.
"i run it at 77cm and am 6 feet tall" nice one ;)
Short torso, LONG arms.
@@PatrickLino i was referring to the mix of imp and metric ;) just get over it an fully embrace cm's and KG's ;)
Headtube is quite deep, big gap between downtube and front wheel isn't as good as no gap in best case, but better im worse case scenario

Skinny or big Luther? You know it matters.
hahahaha skinny Luther for the grandmothers. Big Luther for the kids.
That intro lmfao. These chinese frames are too irresistable!
Hahaha they keep taking my money!
I think the way to pronounce it is like, e-sue-n
I’d like to say I’ll remember. But I won’t haha
Its Yee-shoon. 😂

Been told this plenty of times and I still forget. My brain is stuck on YEEE-SHUN lol
I don't trust cheap Chinese carbon frames
Fantastic
well surprise, the carbon frame you are riding (if you have one) also comes from China and manufactured in one of these companies
@@lupitlupitan I just assume people are either trolling or living under a rock, if they don't understand by now the majority of our consumables come from China.
Taiwan, not China, Taiwan is not a China
