Great video, very informative - Thank You! I installed the Alba 'Heavy Hitter' flywheel on my YXZ and your tips and instructions were extremely helpful.
I'm sitting here watching your video before I install my flywheel tonight and was wondering I see you just been the Driveline and flywheel by hand? The other video I watched they put a bunch of extensions together and a socket into the back of the motor and turns it over that way... Just wondering why they did that if it's been so easy by hand? Do you have it in neutral and is that the way you do it to make it spin so easy obviously?
I have the SS model I'm not having as much trouble as the guys with the manual clutches but I'm wondering if anyone on here has done this on the SS model and what their thought was
Oh okay cool, I didn't even think of it that way. Yeah started watching your channel because you have the same Arctic Cat that I have. How did the secondary and primary clutch workout on the Arctic Cat sport Limited?
I did this same flywheel and man what a difference between the two!

oh and great vids marc....just studying up on my next purchase
Great video, let us know how you like it. Pros and Cons.
Could you tell a difference between stock and this light weight flywheel?
Yes.

headwound I'm sure it was in neutral. Turning it over from the other end seems like a lot of work when it's pretty easy to do from under the car.

Sorry I commented before I seen that you were using the lighter wheel
So I guess the question now is how bad does the going slow stuff do with the light wheel
Daniel Matzendacher I don't trail ride mine so can't comment on that. There are lots of discussions about this subject you can read at yxztalk.com
6gearz thanks I appreciate it
why did you change the fly wheel?
Better engine response, quicker revs. It will sacrifice low speed drive-ability but I don't drive it slow so it was not a concern.

i think because on this engine the cam chain can backup and skip a tooth, thats probably the only reason guys are picky about it.
It is.
