Its a SS so you still won’t be able to go slower then 6 mph without the half clutch light coming on . It does however smooth out the takeoff and gives it some extra grunt down low. I did the GYTR 70/30 gear reduction and 30” tires on mine and I can crawl 1-2 mph with the clutch fully locked.

Thanks for the comment. I'm eager to see how it does on the trail. I will probably do a gear reduction at some point, but for now this is doing fine on all the trails I ride. It is a bit annoying though when riding with RZR guys since they do hit trails quite a bit slower than I would like. Even if I could go 3MPH on a trail, not sure I would. I just don't enjoy rock crawling at all. Too much like being stuck in traffic on a freeway. Move 3 feet, stop, move 3 feet then stop...it's just not my style of preferred riding.

At what Rpm does your clutch engage?

Brian Jean yes. Don’t remember which ride video it’s in but it helped some. I can go about 2mph slower without slipping the clutch.

Is this for trails only , I only do sand dunes and open flats that’s it

If you are doing dunes and open desert type stuff, I would either leave in the stock or go lighter. Heavier gives you lower end torque and for what you doing, you want the motor to spin up faster which means lighter.

    Why wouldn’t test drive it.

Only because I didn't immediately have the opportunity. The nearest trails was 1.5 hour drive at the time and I just didn't have the time to get it out right then. I did get it out a week or so later.
