Gosh Tabs- wish so badly I had known all this when I stopped purging 18 months ago. It was a terrifying beginning to my recovery! But to everyone terrified to stop purging, it does end and fairly quickly!

So bizarre I was talking about ahd and post operative pts today with my clinical supervisor at work (I’m a nurse) and thinking how this was a link to purging behaviour and the effects that I had in early recovery!! U explain it so well! Take care all.

I think there might be other people out there going through this, but this actually made me so sick that I couldn't move out of bed, couldn't walk 2 steps without being out of breath, had delirium and was in severe pain (headaches). get a high strength potassium tablet for recovery and eat high levels of protein.

I’ve had edema for almost two years now. I never purged. I did exercise as a form of purging and was probably dehydrated. I can’t take it anymore. I don’t know what to do.

Does someone know, there are clinics where they use "Tabitha's method" for recovery? I have the feeling i can't do this alone.. Or knows someone experienced coaches or something (in the Netherlands)?

Hey there. If anyone is reading this I really need help: I’m probably already weight restored- I don’t know exactly because I don’t want to know what my scale says- and now I’m into unrestricted eating for about a week. So far so good. It’s going truly well and I’m fully committed to everything that recovery has prepared for me but there is a problem. I don’t have physical extreme hunger anymore. Only mental hunger. I want to respond to it and eat but I’m so full all the time and also I don’t know what to eat because only thinking about any type of food makes me feel incredibly sick. What should I do? Please help me this really sucks 🙄

Just asking myself what's going to happen, if you drink a lot of watet after a b/p? Does that "reassure" a body, that it's not in a desert???
