i learned something about halls salmon eggs. they work great on streamer flies!! i guess it adds scent and the red looks like the fly is bleeding. bass, crappie, trout and catfish love it!!
all the tahoe guides are good, both mike and gene both are top notch, its a shame some california brown trout fisherman bash others, lets just fish, never know when 1 of us will be stuck and needing the others help, quit with the negativity, lets all just fish, geez
Arent the stomachs puffed up because of the air pressure from picking them up from 200 ft down.....it kills them to just throw them back. The air stays in the stomach and keeps them floating....Hope Im wrong, can you confirm this?

The bloating is barotrauma = basically air in the swim bladder. A lake trout will recover and resume a long happy life after a careful release. I've watched lakers chase my lure from 200ft down all the way up to surface and not strike the lure (on sonar) - so this isn't necessarily a death sentence for them and they are doing this chasing bait up all the time.

Big difference between Gene vs. Mike and others! Gene goes on to online forums and posts lies and trys to piss off other anglers on purpose. He puts lures into the mouths of dead fish, he spot burns, trys to send people down roads that are closed. Should I go on? Gene also pushes his service by hyping it up in his stories. He writes in riddles because he has soemthign to hide. Whereas Mike does not do any such things. In fact I do not know of any other guides who do what Gene does. Shame on him!
