The word bow, rhyming with toe, exists but its a noun for the thing made of ribbon and put on gifts. Also 'lay the table' might be British English but it's 'set the table' in American English and 'lay the table' would sound kinda funny because 'to lay' is slang for 'to f**k'. And I'm pretty sure that 'drawing the curtains' is closing them, while we just use 'open the curtains' when we want to let light into a room. Finally it's just 'light' the candle, no 'up' necessary. "Light up" means to illuminate, put a lot of light on or into something. Often used figuratively like 'your smile really lights up the room'.
