The bright, colourful palettes didn’t sell well even when eyeshadow was trendier than it is now. It’s always been a niche category amongst most makeup users. This will sell. Makes total sense from a business standpoint to me.
Where is my I need a rose palette that I see in my head that has all the colors of roses including lots of pinks and purples maybe a few bluish-lavender with a few multi-chromes ... I keep hoping I can speak this into existence.
Yes...Yes we do...and to have an more of a neutral/warm pallet in her formula would be my dream...although my favorite of hers is My Dream pallet. At some point she has to make what sells to stay in business
I just don’t understand why we have to remove talc, it’s a perfectly good ingredient. There’s so much greenwashing that has the most absurd consequences. Meanwhile, they have people all up in arms about talc and our food industry is a disaster. The majority of Americans are consuming food products that are truly unsafe, and not banned at all.
I always find it funny how people want pretty bright colours in a palette, but most people just want 'everyday looks' and actually use all the cream, brown, rust, fawn, nude, etc...and since the 'at the moment trend' is natural look, this palette makes sense.. 😊 Maybe her next palette will be neutral with pops of colours....depending how long the trend runs, I guess.
I would have liked more an I need a rose palette (to match with her I need a rose lipstick collection) with weareable neutral-leaning rose tones something like the Rose Quartz from Huda beauty, that would have made so much sense for the brand and apeal both to neutral and colour lovers. Not another neutral palette plus is called I need a warm but from the online pictures it looks neutral not very warm. And I say this but I'll might still buy this release hahaha because I skipped the gold one so I feel like I can get this one.
Patty, I would love for you to compare this to the Biba palette, especially the warmer rows of Biba. I think the mattes might be similar. And this also kind of reminds me of the Patrick Ta Major Dimension 1 and Major Dimension II!
And yes I liked how you pointed out the unrealistic swatches from Natasha Denona, Amy Loves Makeup has a couple of videos on her chanel trying to recreate the live swatches from Natasha Denona (and other IG brands) using different techniques like dipping her finger in vaseline before diping in the shimmer. But they don't naturally swatch like that (And that is a little problematic to be honest)

I miss the chroma crystal formula! Those are still my favorite. They’re sparkly but delicate. Beautiful and special but not wham bam too much, I can still wear them for everyday but they just add that special touch to a look. Galaxia and Snowbow are my faborites. Oh! And the shade Outer Corner in the glam palette. It’s the sparkly brown in the top row. They just look special.
This palette looks like it works for those skin tones that were too deep for the Nudes palette. I didn't get it. I want this one once I see the reviews
For anyone upset by all the talk about the prisme libre reformulation please please please watch pampered wolf’s video about it! You will feel a lot better!! Now I think the video about it that was shared all over was exaggerated by over applying the new formula.💖
A holochrome is a multichrome with holographic pigments in it. It's become common in smaller indie brands. I doubt we will see it from nd simply because the FDA does not approve of use of any holographic "pigments" around the eye area. Some people like to say that the new holographic pigments are mica based but from my research this simply is not true. They are synthetic plastic based. Idk how indie brands are getting away with using them 🧐
It COULD be that or it could be that manufacturers are lying & saying the holographic pigments are mica based & are being taken at their word. I hope it's not the latter, but like I said, upon doing research I found that there is no such thing as a mica holographic pigment. @@omegasobsessions
as a warm/neutral toned brown girl...I'm SO TIRED of warm palettes. I *CRAVE* truly cool palettes that are for deeper shades because I do alternative makeup. sometimes I don't mind looking dead🤷🏽♀
Luckily I caught someone saying about the new Givenchy powder reformulation and I grabbed some at Myer Australia 🇦🇺 checked the ingredient deck, made sure No Mica and bought back ups of the Original formula. We in Australia can be slower, luckily this worked out 🥰..

I was thinking about buying the glam palette or the my dream palette but even those were too deep for my liking. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy a colorful look from time to time but none of the color stories seemed good for me. So, I ended up purchasing the mini palettes because the color stories are more muted for the minis. Now I own the hypernatural face palette, love face palette and I need a nude palette. Now I am thinking to buy one of the new palettes (golden or I need a warm). I really appreciate that she hasn’t released just one neutral palette but instead she is releasing multiple neutral palettes with the different undertones.
I think I’ll be getting this with my Ulta employee discount and using my points probably around the holidays, I think this color story is going to suit my tan complexion much better than I Need a Nude and Golden. I think this color story is more versatile.
I loved Zenon pallet too. I took it out the other day and the cream shadows are dried up 😢😭. This hasn’t happened with any other ND pallet. Heart broken.
