I added a 100amp rv pedistal to our house here in Portland. So now we have a 50, 30, and 20 amp service. Then tied in a sewer drop for rvs, plus a 35lbs water outlet. And then a 65lbs water for washing our rigs. Makes a great addition for when friends just happen to pop up to the Northwest.
Sounds like a great setup! I'm sure your RVer friends appreciate it too. We have done plenty of moochdocking with family and having utilities makes it so much nicer.
Looks like Home Sweet Home guys. Now you have that place to get the maintenance done on the rigs and to recharge ones internal batteries. Just love you guy's. Bubba, the Hatfield and McCoy look looks good. Don't you be stealing none of them there neighbors chicken's now. I know how much you love them. Enjoy 😁
It feels like home and it has been a wonderful place to recharge. We'll be rarin' to go when we hit the road again! Lol he doesn't mind the hens, it's just the rooster he has trouble with lol.
Great to see the pad get in. Congrats on the power has well. The boys are sitting watching with me and did not remember y’all from Quartzite. As soon as the dog is in the shot they all started “There’s the shy dog! That’s the shy dog from Quartzite.” Haha. Good to see y’all are doing well. God Bless.
Great job! Hard work but a lot quicker with two of you sharing the load. That mix of 3/4" with fines will pack real nice over time. The more it gets wet and driven over the harder it will get.
Kat you said a ton of gravel that triaxle had probably close to 20 ton on it! Thats a lot of work to do all by hand! My hats off to you both for getting it done quickly. See you good folks in IDAHO.
And I Love the RCL shirts! I am an RCL fan. We used to cruise Disney, but switched to RCL. We had our cruise in 2020 cancelled, hope to use our RCL credit in 2022. Chicken likes the dug up dirt :-) I like your family's place, lots of land there. The RV spot came out Nicely! Great Job!
@@TipsyMarlinTravels On the ranch, grandpa use to say I'm the only rooster here and all others are hens or chicks and he made sure of that. One woke him up once at 4:00am and by 5:00 he was on the dinner table.😂
Hi guys.👋... broke into a sweat just watching the video.🤣... did a real good job... We used to use half railroad ties on the back of the blade trailers to elevate the windmill blades... Those things are heavy..😖 Hats off to you guys.. 1st time I have ever seen a nosy chicken.😅..when Jeannes mother Stayed with us we put 250 gallon propane tank..👍 Tapped the water and sewage into our septic and water...👍👍 That will be a good idea... Going to be in Indiana on the 26 of April to get a slide out repaired... You guys stay- safe take care...J&A
The pad looks great.I’m hoping to get our rig out in a few months. It’s been a long COVID year for us all. I’m planning on putting in a 30 amp receptacle here at home. The grandchildren will be coming up from Texas in July. I’m sure they’ll want to sleep in the rig instead of in the house. Great video.
Hey Kat and Bubba, looks like you will be all set with your new home port when you guys are NOT on the road exploring this great country, sharing your adventures with your vast followers like me,still great videos and narrations, keep up the wonderful videos, thanks the oldhoatkeeper,Paul,in Pensacola,Fl.
We have talked about doing something like that. This septic system is old school, so Bubba is going to install a clean out where it vents. Then we're thinking we could connect to that.
There you go we did the same but there was two of us me and another close friend and we bought a piece of property together 5 acres and then we put up there was an old trailer pad and he set on one side and I set on the other side and we bring in gravel like you did then we use the pad to walk out on then we put up a 24 x 24 pole barn and we had a well and septic already on there we just got it up and running then we had water and electric and sewer and it works out real good we put a metal gate down at the bottom of the driveways when we’re not there we shut lock the gate no problems in two years
We aren't planning to yet. Lots of traveling left to do but you know how it is when your parents get older. We want to be here more, so we may do things a little differently.
Very nice!! We r on lockdown here in 🇨🇦😣 plus waiting for our custom Taylor Coach😍 sheesh that chicken!!! No Henny Penny about her!!😂 and the rooster is a fine looking fella!🐔🐓 we r Boondocker's Welcome hosts and r making a 20x30pad- already have water & 30amp...too small for the likes of your rig..but don't see a lot of big rigs on Vancouver Island. We are waiting to see what happens with this scamdemic, it's bad up here, locking up people in covid containment camps/jailing christian preachers, hubby had the rcmp called on him for not wearing a mask at the gas station!🤦♀️😪 we want to help rvers from out of province have a safe haven on our property since this island is calling police on out of province license plates🤦♀️😠 I am so grateful to see sanity and normal stuff from all you youtubers...it brightens the days!😍🐕⚘🌻❤🇨🇦
Oh my goodness, and we thought people had lost their minds down here! Bless you for trying to bring some normalcy into a wretched situation. We're praying life gets back to normal again soon and we'll keep all of you up north in our prayers.
Probably should have rented a compactor and run over it several times to pack that Type 2 down. If it's loose like that and it rains hard you will have ruts.
That's a really good question. We built that about three years ago, and neither of us can remember what wire we used. We did find that the local electrical supply company was a huge help in figuring out what we needed. I'm really sorry we don't have a better answer for you.
Awesome job on the pad. Was half expecting to see Bubba playing with a skid steer.
I wish we had rented one! That pad would have been done in an afternoon.
Turned out pretty nice.
Y'all did a great job on the pad; that chicken was to funny, couldn't believe that it let you hold it like a small dog......lol to cute.
Thank you! That chicken really does think she's a dog.
i have no doubt you all slept well after that work out. Thanks for the video.
Yes we did!

Lol well we figured once we got Lulu that she would end up being the star of the show lol 😆
For your waste tank go to a army surplus place and get a used shipping container. Worked great for us. Got ours in Texarkana
Thanks! That's a great idea and we never would have thought of that.
WOW! Just wow!....
Nice looking pad, we need to build one at our home for guests.
Thank you! It was well worth the work.
This is my first time commenting. The videos are great I've been rewatching some of them lately.
Thank you so much, and for commenting. We love hearing from you.
Also thank you for your service in law enforcement
Manscaping...LMAO, you two are hilarious. Thanks for sharing your journey. Peace

stunning upload Tipsy Marlin Travels. I killed the thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the wonderful work.

Nice. Making me jealous, would love to have a piece of property to chill out on. 😁 Safe Travels. See u 3 soon!
It has been really nice not having the pressure of where to stay next for a little while.
looks great gang! Nice to find this video first thing when i woke up!

Love that chicken! What a soul it has!
She is truly one of a kind. We named her Chog (chicken who thinks she's a dog).

Would love to come visit. Buy the way don't need the rooster either. When we had our ranch had 100 hens and no rosters.
If Bubba had his way the rooster would be gone lol.

Hey Paul!! Good to hear from you! It's a great home base and a good place to travel from. Hope all is well down there in sunny Florida!!
Great job guys. Bury a second line with your water to pump your black tank to the septic with a macerating pump?

Nice video! Does LuLu want to chase the chickens?
Lulu isn't quite sure what to think of the chickens lol. She hasn't tried to chase them...yet.
Nice job guys! That little chicken couldn't get enough of it could she?! 😆 it's obvious you're in one of the Southern States which one ?
We're in Arkansas, and there are two hens that follow us around like dogs 🐕. They're pretty cool, even if they do get under foot sometimes.
How fast can you tow with the Pooper trailer? Or is it easier to pick it up and haul it?
We put it up on the truck bed and drive it to the dump station. If we were towing it I would say 10 mph is as fast as we'd go.
Looks great good job, may I ask how many beers and ice creams were consumed ?
Thanks, and yes...only two beers each on the hard days and I don't think we had any ice cream. We had root beer floats yesterday though 🧁🍺
What size wire did you use for your 50amp run?

Hi,
May I ask what is that machine y’all used to break up the soil in the beginning of the video?
Hello! We were using a roto tiller to break up the dirt.

Looks beautiful
Welcome and we're so glad you found us! We are in western Arkansas, and it is really pretty here.

Go Razorbacks. 😊
How many tons was that?
How much was the timber?
If I remember correctly, $12 per railroad tie.
You even put Grace to work. And they say we only play.
Lol, yep, and Grace hasn't done any real work in years.
How big is your pad ?
It is 25 feet wide and 30 feet deep. The rear of our rv hangs over the back of the pad and it's long enough to fit our 42 foot fifth wheel.
Wow Kat really gets in there and works away. Don't find women like that anymore. Well done guys, love your videos.
Thank you! I got in and helped, but Bubba did most of the hard labor.
How many ice cream cones was that worth
At least a dozen!
Love the RV pad but I think momma worked a little harder than Bubba
To be fair, Bubba did most of the hard labor but I helped where I could.
Time for a Adult beverage!
Yes, and cheers! 🍻
