Hi, George. Very good indeed! An aquascape is a work of art, but never with a patent... It's nice to get inspiration in other scapes to make our own (GreenAqua have a TakashiAmano - inspired scape; now Chris has a Filipe Oliveira - inspired scape). It's good to be the scource of inspiration, probably the best acknowledgement of an artists' worth. You are an inspiration to many more than you imagine (even kids in schools!!) - congratulations! Keep on scaping, really! Don't stop! You are so passionate about your work, you do what you like best (only for the few...) and that shows!! Thx from sunshiny Portugal!!
Interesting that in that first tank? a few twigs facing in all directions gives the impression of a larger tree uprooted and new growth spring's forth. Just a few twigs.
Another beautiful nature scape. I would go for a large school of green neon tetras, the little rosy loaches as they hover and don't hide, and a good starter colony of blue shrimp. The livestock colors playing off the plants and wood, would be beautiful, and relaxingly serene.
Great acuarium. I love this project with the inspiration from Felipe Oliveira, because is an amazing aquascape. I’ll really enjoye this work and hope to see the evolution. Thank u for sharing another one.
Awesome scape! I’ve been in the market to start my first aquascape and I’ve been using your videos as tutorials. You’ve earned a subscriber! Thanks again from the USA
Only a little stretch til the 50K! Well done mate. Amazing how much video you did in the past. Massive info collection. Keep up the passion and keep on scapin' :)
Very nice! Ember Tetras would be my choice. Appreciate you George, watch your videos on my tv mostly and can't comment so big thumbs up from California.
Is there gonna be an update on that guy’s aquarium that you aquascaped at his house a little more than a month ago i think? You asked us what fish we recommended so I’m curious if the tank is cycled and ready for fish
Such a nice layout. The branches give it a real interesting look. I've been trying to come up with an aquascape for a 125gal where I can still keep plenty of surface space for large fish like clown loaches and other mid level swimming fish. Love to pick your brain and get your ideas. Cheers have a good one mate. :)
Love the simplicity of this scape. I love the rimless tank look but I would prefer one where the filter etc are hidden in the back in a separate overflow compartment. Do you have any suggestions for such a tank?
Are there any disadvantages to sand? will it stay that clean if you siphon over the sand every time you water change? I'd really like to mimic this look, the sand and soil divided by stone is so lovely.
Ooh, my favorite question! Corydoras to give some activity in the open sand at the front, certainly a schooling fish like Harlequin Rasboras or (my favourite) Rummynose tetras, and perhaps the classic Angelfish as a centrepiece? A school of rainbows would look good too, though, and maybe some cherry shrimp to accent those long branches of manzanita...
Hey George love the video wery Nice contrast indeed 👌👌👌 aquascape i think maby some licht or dark type s corydoras might look cool! as the gold laser cory or panda s or Adolfi types .aside that i might copy one of example aquascape of green aqua im wery interested!! 😍
Perhaps a stupid comment but regarding the Twinstar LED light - are the leds replaceable? Or do you have to get a new light after the leds are worn out? Wonderful scape as always George!
Thanks Pewe! The LEDs are integral to a large circuit board so my guess is that the entire unit would need replacing. I guess you’d see around 5-10 years lifespan, at least with regular use.
Yep another nice one, you do make it look easy man, well cardinals always look good in s big school fir staters, tell me where can i get Frodo stone from as im gonna rescape my 240l sometime soon and aquarium gardens dont sell it
George - a quick question about the filter - where do you usually put the intake and outtake pipes? It seems most of the time you have both on one side and the CO2 on the opposite - is that correct?
Hi, I usually have them together as this tends to promote best all round circulation. With CO2 at opposite end so flow picks up and distributes bubbles all over. 👍
Hi George, Do you know of any excellent aquascaping/freshwater aquarium stores in the New York City Area? I just moved to the East Coast from California and want to get a scape started. Thanks for any recommendations! Cheers, Brandon from Brooklyn, NY, USA
Lovely scape George... as always! Noticed you said you didn't add de-chlorinator, is it only necessary when there's live stock in the tank? If it was just purely a planted aquarium would you add de-chlorinator?
What about adding some calm and colourful Tanganyika African Cichlids? I ask as I have 6 and I am building out my aquascape and haven't seen Cichlids in any of the work.
Hi Mark, My guess is that they’re not used so much because they can cause havoc with plants (species dependent). Also in my view I prefer smaller fish so they don’t overly compete with the planting in terms of aesthetic balance. I hope that makes sense.
So I was just given a 75 gallon tank so now I can do what I really want. What do you recommend for smaller community fish for Aquascape? Also, do you recommend shrimp? Maybe, this could be a video discussing fish, shrimp, snails etc.
Growing plants in s tank without fish. Can I have too much Co2 or is there no limit. I understand there's a point of excess (too much for plants to use) but too much won't inhibit growth right? I'm growing dwarf baby tears (hc Cuba) and it's got so much Co2 and pretty decent lighting yet no pearling. What should I do?? Thanks

First! Easy peasy lemon squeezy :D Yesteryday I went to my local home goods store to look for a red colander, and sadly I couldn't find one I guess yours is one of a kind #RedColander😂 ps. For fish I would go with a simple group of like 30 rummy nose tetras since in a longer tank I love how they school back and forth. Plus when this scape will be grown in, fish that have too much color will make for too much "noise" in my opinion
3 - 4 pairs each of: Badis Badis, Chocolate Gouramis, Dwarf Honey Gouramis, Yo-Yo Loaches, a dozen of each: CPDs, Harlequin Raspboras, and one stunning pair of Pearl Gouramis (Male and Female). Add some dwarf water lettuce to float on the water, or add in the back left corner a Red Tiger Lotus.

Thanks Pieter 👍

Love that tank! Simple and complex at the same time. Thanks for sharing George!
Always love watching you create such beautiful aquascapes. Cardinal tetras!!
The power of the “Golden Ratio” on full display, awesome!
Nice scape George. 👍👍👍
Another stunning creation .. George the best Farmer 👌👍

Celestial pearl Danio Fish. Lovely and interesting scape George

Wowza I've really enjoyed watching this tutorial and learned a lot! Thanks for sharing once again, George! 😀
Very simple, but looks great! Really looking forward to seeing this in a few months to see how it's grown in and matured 😊
Can't wait for an update.. Love the triangular layouts. As always, can never decide on what fish 😁👍👍👍

Beautiful work George. If I had that tank I would go for 41 ember tetras, half a dozen panda cory cats and 20 blue velvet shrimp shrimps!
Like it! On form with this one mate, he must have had good coffee 😁.
ember tetras and rummy nose tetras will go amazingly well with this scape

have you ever tried the co2 bazooka atomizer from co2 art? it's amazing!

Amano shrimp, Otocinclus, Bristlenose plec. But best to also focus on good plant growth

What about adding some calm and colourful Tanganyika African Cichlids? I ask as I have 6 and I am building out my aquascape and haven't seen Cichlids in any of the work.

Harlequin Rasbora for the tank

A large school of rummy nose tetras with a few angels. Add a school of panda corys and you've got a beaut!
How much for one of those tanks please
What are the stones used?
Grey Mountain Stone. :)
Thank you :)

As there are grey stones , fish which like high GH could be a nice choice🙃

No but it helps a lot
What sand is used?
Hugo Kamishi Natural White
Brilliant thank you Mr Farmer
What's the dimension of that tank sir?
900mm (l) x 500mm (w) x 450mm (h)
RAINBOWFISH! One day if I keep saying it you’ll have the idea of them so ingrained in your mind, that you’ll have to put them in a scape :P
