Oh and btw: my two setups are now a year and a half old and still going strong! Really happy with them. How long does your substrate last usually in a aqua scape? Can you just (in theory) keep the same substrate in a fully planted aquarium and make it last a very long time?
Hi MJ, my tank is a 85L, medium planted, highly stocked, CO2 injected. Half of the tank is covered with red plants (various Ludwigia, nymphaea lotus red and echinodorus sword red flame) as light I have Chihiros WRGB II Slim60 (the tank is 80cm long). The light gives to me around 27lm x litres. Do you think that a stronger light (like WRGB2 Pro60 or the WRGB2 Pro80) are better? Honestly i can't decide between the mentioned by me, can you help me? Thanks
Obviously the pro80 would be the best option, but it all depends on your goals. If you are happy with the current plant growth and colours then I wouldn’t change anything. If you want faster growth or better colours go for the upgrade 👍🏻

Yeah you can, the only thing you need to do once a year is add some new root tabs
