    Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

      Go with a 45 vertical water reservoir tank. Never worry about refueling. Most customers don't mind using their water. Remember space management is super important, I run a 45 gallon tank, ryobi electric pressure washer, never had issues. Hell if your looking for a hose reel get a air hose reel thats retractable from harbor freight. Convert it. Get a minimum 2200-watt generator. I wish I could show you my set up.

    YOU DONT NEED A WATER PUMP OR GRAVITY FEED THAT RYOBY CAN SUCK THE WATER WITH NO LOST ON PRESSURE , JUST PUT THE RYOBI ON TOP OF THE TANK AND RUN THE HOSE INSIDE THE TANK MAKING SHURE IT REACH ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM AND THATS IT , WHEN YOU RUNNING IT THE FIRST TIME JUST REMOVE THE OUTLET HOSE , LET IT RUN WATER FLOW UNTIL YOU HAVE A GOOD CONSISTENT FLOW OF WATER IT WILL TAKE AROUND 5 SEC , THEN YOU CAN CONNECT YOUR OUTLET HOSE WITH THE GUN AND YOURE GOOD TO GO IS SOMETHING LIKE REMOVING THE AIR OF THE MACHINE NOT TO SURE ABOUT THAT, AND IF YOU RUN OUT OF WATER AND REFILL YOU NEED TO REPEAT THE PROCESS EVERY TIME YOU REFFILL THE TANK , 6 YEARS RUNNING THIS PROCESS AND NO PROBLEM AND MAKE SURE TO USE THE 15 DEGRESS YELLOW NOZZLE THAT IT COMES WITH THE MACHINE , APPARRENTLY EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE MACHINE , CHANGE HOSE AND GUN NO PROBLEM JUST KEEP THE NOZZLE.

      You should be using larger orifice 2.5 nozzle to reduce the pressure. I run at around 1200-1300 psi with 2.5 orifice instead of the stock 1600-1700 psi. I like the 25 degree fan with 20” bent wand extension but 15 degree might be better without extension, you just stay further from paint. Some say to even go down to 1000 psi but I think that’s overly cautious and not necessary

      Honestly for the buck I would have to say the harbor freight generators nothing less than a 2000watt generator check the running amps required from each power tool you need to use like polishers steam cleaners power drills if used vacuums that way you know what generator is best for you all the generators give you the performing output they can handle try to stay away from the max number of amps on your generator because it can cause an overload basically not be able to use the power tool effectively and can shut the generator off

    Water tanks are not necessary!
    Have you ever heard of a rinseless? Have you ever heard of deionizer tanks?
    I don’t understand why all these beginner detailers are so obsessed with stuffing a heavy, bulky water tank in their cars…

    • @detailhomie1779
      @detailhomie1779  Рік тому

      Yea I have heard of them all, have you seen the prices for deionized systems and have you had to come up against vehicles that have went off-roading . It’s very easy to understand you need pressurized water to get off hard grime not rinse less washes to rub the hard dirt into the paint. After doing it for some years you would think or at least know there are a lot of reasons for these things. it not an obsession it’s a solution affordable for beginners to become successful and make a name for them selves with a great outcome of there work , you need a lot of different methods for all situations.

      @@detailhomie1779 very true I’ve been detailing here in LA for 3 years now. I have the medium size Adams DI tank $399 and Only use filtered water on my final rinse. 99% of the cars that I detail are in residential settings. I’ve got about 3000 cars under my belt give or take and the more cars I do the more I realize that a pressure washer is only necessary about 1/4 of the time.
      May because I am in Los Angeles where people don’t go off Roading and the weather is very nice and cars are never that dirty

      I don’t detail for money I use to here and there it’s all based on your location what’s around other car washes and detailers , if you have skill and experience it always helps to give you a reason to add a better profit , keep in mind you have to pay yourself back as well as time skill and product to put back into your business , also find a client base that actually care about there vehicles condition and up keep they will value you your work and you can gain relationships and good word of mouth witch brings you good business and profit be loyal and honest explain your product and what you offer if it’s more than the average car wash guy Detailing can be very profitable .

    rinse less wash ? this is a terrible idea, you'll inevitably scratch the paint ,doesn't matter how well the no rinse works

    • @detailhomie1779
      @detailhomie1779  3 роки тому +1

      Yes this is true eventually you will scratch the paint, even putting microfiber towels will eventually give light scratches depending on the quality of paint job , nice to have the options when the time is limited or materials or tools are not available best to do the research for what works for what situation . 👍🏼

      @@detailhomie1779 a simple towel will not scratch clear without sand or debris on the surface sorry , not true, but if you need to get a detail done quickly and the customer is in a hurry i see how this can be an option, not a great one, but an option

    • @detailhomie1779
      @detailhomie1779  3 роки тому

      Have you ever seen super cars get detailed and after have a blower push the water off ? This method is used to avoid putting any drying towel on them for that reason .technical but is a fact . Thanks for your comment though much appreciated. No paint last forever can be maintained but little by little clear coat gets taken away from regular weather elements wear and tare also buffing and cutting . So I’m the end it’s up to how you want to maintain your vehicle. Auto car washes also slap and use different abrasive materials that would cause scratching too so it’s just how you look at it and how you prefer to quick touch up wash a lightly dirty vehicle or do a really good cleaning by hand on a heavily dirty one .

      Actually, ONR (Optimum No Rinse) is perfectly safe when used correctly. Soap and foam do the same thing as ONR, the only difference is ONR is a specially engineered chemical that encapsulates the dirt and creates a slick surface to prevent paint marring. It really is the future of car washing, as its more efficient, takes less time and conserves resources. I only wash my cars with ONR and if very dirty, then use a combo of ONR first on the dirt (to encapsulate the debris), then foam and rinse, then proceed with ONR 2 bucket method. It has been tested and is very well regarded in detailing circles.
