Hi, Scott. This is great to see. I’ve followed your channel, and your evolution, since just about the beginning. And I hope you explore your narrative filmmaking more. My journey is almost a mirror of yours. I’m a writer who took up amateur filmmaking as hobby several years ago. I think you’ll find writing to be liberating as long as you don’t try to be perfect. Sound familiar? You start with a raw idea, and keep sculpting away until a story takes shape. You do the same thing visually now. I’m sure you’ll find your way with verbal storytelling.
This is just great. It's really well shot and edited and you've done really well to keep the story/emotion at the forefront. I really enjoyed it- looking forward to future edits 👍🏻
Honestly, this is amazing Scott! Thanks for sharing your thought and creative process with us and your steps into the unknown to better your skillset. Enjoyed learning from you on this one! 🙏- Callum
Incredible Scott! This is just what I needed right now to get out of my own rut. It's amazing how deep the world of film-making can be isn't it? It's almost overwhelming to think about all the different components working together to build a story - always something to improve upon, skills to level up. Thanks for the vid, all the best.
Hi Scott- this was an incredible short film and the challenge behind it. This is exactly what I needed to see and help jumpstart me on my own practice.
Scott…your Mom told me about this and I have to say it is stunning!!!! I can now see why you are so successful!!!!
Nice to hear from you Laurie, glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the kind words :)
This short narrative at the beginning...very nice! I need to "play" more each day with the gear I already have and push my skill set more.
Glad you enjoyed it. Had a great time playing a bit more.
This became such a cool project! Love the challenge. Film mountain biking for 30 days next?! 😅
Thanks dude! Was definitely partially inspired by your commitment to ride every day last year haaha

Great imagery Scott. You should definitely do more of these with some actors tho, so you can take more time behind the camera
