Imo I think the game looks fine without the volumetric clouds and fog, it looks cleaner, and gave me like +25fps, why isn’t this an actual option in the video settings wildcard?
Cause wildcard can't even release a game properly with good performance...
I think some areas look great with clouds and other areas feel like the fog from minecraft with low view distance set

Can somebody tell me why I cant access that black console bar? I have enabled the console in my settings and set it to my tab, but it doesn't come up. It's also not under my ` key. Please help!

I honestly would rather take the little fps hit to keep the fog on, it looks so much better with it on to me especially adding a bit more anxiousness underwater, I def turn the clouds off though

My RTX 3080 was struggling to play this game like I was happy when I hit 30 fps. Which coming from a ex console player it wasn’t that bad in my opinion however it would lower to 15-20 fps and I couldn’t even play the game I can’t imagine how it is to play this game with anything under a 3080 which Is most of the community. I hope they fix the issues!
Getting 50-60fps on a 3070 at 1440p. And still looks great to me. You might tweak some of the settings a bit more. There are a couple of other folks who have lower end GPUs that show how to tweak things further you might look for.

my fps was high but was constantly microstuttering with a 4090, frames smoothed out after copying your settings

frame generation is only available for 4000 series cards,but i have 3070ti which doesnt allow to use the feature
Ahhh didn't know it was exclusive at the time, thought all RTX had it
i've also found that dlss actually lowers my fps, idk if it'll be for everyone else but i went from 45-53 fps to 57-63 fps

u probably have it on Quality which has the opposite effect , set it to balanced or performance
if its still lower than you have a Special Need PC and should probably wash it with water

rtx 4080 is like a 4k graphics card wild that your frames rates are that low at 1080 p
UR5 terrible engine designed for hardware that does not exist. Worse Grovestreet games worked on this port.

Do you know why im only getting 20 fps no matter what setting im on? int he menu i get well over 300fps as soon as im in game i get 20 frames.I used to get 60 flat and then it started happening the other day and it wont stop.

Was planning on refunding the game because my pc lagged when i played, this helped and made the game feel even more beautiful!

You have to enter them each time you open the game
I don’t even think I can even play this game rn because my graphics card is booty, its an equivalent to a gtx 1030 and the game crashes when I go into the character customization

Yeah but it is pretty dicey and can have issues like crashes

8fps on a 3050 (pc) to 20 fps ,i mean im used to bad fps so for me iit playable,on my laptop with a 3070 20fps - 30 even 40 sometimes fps,thanks a bunch,really helped me

I have a Nvidia RTX 2060 but for some reason that RTX tab in the game settings just is not there at all. I've tried verifying the files ect and nothing so idk what to do when it says within my pc that I clearly have it 😂

Hey I have a smaller keyboard so that button isn't there or the button that looks like it doesn't work to open commands. Is there another way or some way to do it on a mini keyboard. Corsair mini to be exact

Help somehow I cant open the console like this anymore it worked in ark se but in ark asa I have to press esc and then open the console with the buttom on to bottom left :C
Try go into settings, advanced, turn console access on. And check what keybinds you have for console too

Do you have a RTX graphics card? If not, that is why it isnt in your menu. EDIT: Only the 40 series cards have the technology. So unless you have a 4070, 4080 or 4090 the options will not appear in your menus.
SAME i have a 3080 12 gb and i cant see the rtx tab, i also updated the driver but still nothing..

4080, Idk what you would get tbh, could be around 40-50
@@ConCon I get around 50-60 fps on a 3070 at 1440p. Though I have some settings lower than ConCon does. Though it looks great to me still even at the lower settings, not as good as the trailer did, no idea how they got the trailer looking like that as others with a 4090 haven't.

It’s only available for nvidia rtx cards if you have an amd card or a gtx card you can’t use dlss or frame generation

Early dev stages, similar to the weird blue light at the edge of water on consoles back in the early days. Try graphics driver updates, windows updates, reinstalling the game (?) or if those don’t work, wait for the devs to fix it

yeah mine stutter non stop at medium but only work on high? i still get flickers its very obnoxious
@@mooshy8178 actually I think the flickering is just a bug, my 4090 friend sees the same flickering as me when we try to play.
Edit: Should also mention that we see them at the exact same time. We think the flickering is caused by a light source shining from under the map like before the sun rises and sets

I'd like to say UE5 just isnt ready but coffee stain atudios used it much better with Satisfactory than Ark is currently doing. Even with the fancy lumen stuff, that game runs easily 100+ on high settings, while this runs 60-70 on a mix of low settings (1440p ultrawide, 7900xt).

Yeah unfortunately, I find if you type r.v it has an autocomplete for the cloud one and then you just edit it to type fog in.

Go to settings, advance and turn on "console access"
I see your resolution scale is set to 82. Meaning your not running your full 2k resolution. If you save ypur advanced graphics to epic then change all individual settings, it will keep your scale at 100.

@@ConCon yes that’s true, but because of the fact that you’re running 1080p at 82% resolution scale, you’re technically only running at 885.6p. So therefore technically you aren’t running at 1080p.
@@My320iNo. When you turn on dlss framegen and superres, it uses its own live res scale and it wont matter what you have in that setting, also the reason why its greyed out
