how do i make the in-game commands, permanent? i am having to do it every time i open the game. i also suffer from a weird character flickering/flashing thing, where my character goes invisible for a millisecond, about every 5 - 10 seconds, and my in-game map is extremely blurry to a point i cannot make out any locations if not for the coordinates. what could these be due to? i am running an rtx 3050 6gb with ryzen 5 5500, 16gb ram & have 400gb free space. my nvidia graphics are tuned for a good balanced gaming experience and my in-game ark settings are pretty much the same as yours. whenever i do my settings like yours, the game runs and looks amazing (besides the blurry map), but whenever i start it up again after closing it, i have to apply all of the in-game commands again (such as r.soandso 0).
Dude had to destroy the visuals just to gain 20-30 more FPS. I'm on a 4090 and can't even hardly get at or above 60 at 3440x1440p with the High Preset and DLSS on Balanced, and I refuse to to use 78 console command just for the game to run slightly better. They really need to fix performance but based on how SE went, they probably won't. I really enjoy the game but sometimes it's hard to play because of how badly it runs. It's also hard to mess with the settings because the game is a crashfest for me whenever I try and do so.

I have a 4070 (laptop) GPU. I've ran everything on low turned things off, did my console commands, turned off everything in the RTX menu, did launch options, and still getting a fatal error crash. Is there anything you could recommend I do or is this game just unplayable without crashes on a laptop ? Thanks for the videos
Not gonna lie, ASA doesn't look as good as it could on my laptop but with low settings and my 3050Ti I'm getting 40 to 60 frames pretty consistently. Mostly 50 to 60 and I can make that work for now. Low in ASA is way better than low in ASE. Thanks for those first 3 tips turn off clouds, fog and water reflection.
i also have the same configuration but struggling alot , can you tell me what graphics settings you using?
i have a 3060ti and struggling a lot, what are your settings?
No longer struggling games awesome I guess they pushed out some performance patches
I have the same setup what settings are you using?
Same got a 3070 with the same results. I hope the bring somebbb BIG optimization in the future for the Game.
Thanks for the help, just the launch augment alone got me an extra 10 fps, now I don't need to use the nanite.maxpixeledge 3 command (alongside the volumetriccloud 0 command) to hit a stable 30 fps.
what gpu and cpu u got?
yikes
Nice information thankyou bro! ❤
i ask wat button should we press? tilt button?
1080 ti and tried this. It did help but i can only get 30fps even if i lower everything it doesnt do much but make it look like ark evolve day 1. Great guide tho it did increase my fps from 10 to 30 just need better hardware now.
i have a 1080 ti too and i got like 40-50 fps on mostly high settings, the trick is to have the resolution quality at like 80 and to make it windows and only take up like 3/4 of the screen
@@lukecompton1597 just how ?
yo uso una amd 570 y despues de 8 horas logre optimizarlo para que me ande a 40.60 fps con buenos graficos sin perder calidad
Nice one, you made the game look like survival evolved. One handed clap
for real lol
2080ti starting to show its age with this game.
love you man
Good info, I play pve on my own self hosted servers or solo so 30fps is good for me. This information let me get great looking game with 30 fps on an i7 4790k with a rtx 2060 ftw with 32 gigs of ram.
Hey guys, if you're looking for some console commands, just copy this whole thing and paste it in the thing, it may make your game look a little bit worse but it'll get your frames up.
r.VolumetricFog 0 | r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge 4 | r.Shadow.CSM.MaxCascades 0 | r.ContactShadows 0 | r.SkylightIntensityMultiplier 3 | r.VolumetricCloud 0 | grass.Enable 0 | wp.Runtime.HLOD 0 | r.Water.SingleLayer.Reflection 0 | r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow 0 | sg.FoliageQuality 0 | r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable 0 | r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable 0 | r.VolumetricFog 0 | r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 2 | show InstancedGrass | r.Fog 0
Took me a while to find the consol command. You have to go in to your settings first under advanced and put console access to on
Do the commands persist thru logins? Or will you have to get rid of volumetric clouds every time you re-start the game?
I would like to know this also
its so hard to get good performance without the frame generation from the 40xx series.
Aside from messing with some other configuraton things that is:)
LOVE YOU MAN
One question: are the console commands permanent or do I have to type them in every time I launch the game?
helloo i cant seem to open the console, idk why. any suggestions?
thank you bro
I don't have those settings when I pause the game. I see 'options' and some graphical info there, but nothing like what I see on your screen. I don't see 'Toggle Phone Mode' either. I am using steam when playing on my server. Is that what you are using?
good video helped me get more fps
So how do you undu any of these r. Commands? I mistakenly typed in : r.water.singlelayer 0 and forgot to add reflection in and now the water is completely gone...lol.
Great video by the way gained around 30 fps
2:11 alternately you can type, showfps into the commands tab
Will it run okay with i5 10300H 8GB RAM RTX 3060 ? Just curious if it can run it with good fps even at low to medium settings even with foliage or water physics on? I mean currently this set up can do like 50-90FPS With Epic Settings on ASE but ASA is much heavier so idk...
how can you open this console I have this with TAB deposited with the KEYBOARD Settings but when I then press this button opens with me nothing. can who help me further I have to set something else ...
Bro I’m literally sitting at 20-30 fps thx a lot this totally helped💀
Is there a command that resets all previous commands ran? Or what was the default values for each command that was in the description?
From what I’ve experienced in game all the console commands he uses reset whenever you restart the game or it crashes but regardless the default value is 1 so to turn fog back on for example r.volumetricfog 1
THANK YOU I LOVE YOU
Question, i have a RTX 2080 and a Ryzen 5 3600, i run on a 1080p monitor with 165hz refresh rate, would i be able to run this game on my PC? Can’t find anything on the 2080’s.
how do i make the in-game commands, permanent? i am having to do it every time i open the game. i also suffer from a weird character flickering/flashing thing, where my character goes invisible for a millisecond, about every 5 - 10 seconds, and my in-game map is extremely blurry to a point i cannot make out any locations if not for the coordinates. what could these be due to? i am running an rtx 3050 6gb with ryzen 5 5500, 16gb ram & have 400gb free space. my nvidia graphics are tuned for a good balanced gaming experience and my in-game ark settings are pretty much the same as yours. whenever i do my settings like yours, the game runs and looks amazing (besides the blurry map), but whenever i start it up again after closing it, i have to apply all of the in-game commands again (such as r.soandso 0).
I don't mind having 40-50 fps on low/medium... but do you know how to stop the unstable jitters and stutters?
I have been having those stutters too. They are so annoying
how you stop it from resetting the console command evry time i quit the game i have to re type the console commands
thanks wesley
thank u man
Just a heads up, frame gen currently crashes ark constantly
Not sure when it will be fixed, but it literally can't be used
These console commands reset every new session is there a way to make them persist so I don't have to use them every time I want to play ark?
I was waiting for this video to drop hah
Dude had to destroy the visuals just to gain 20-30 more FPS. I'm on a 4090 and can't even hardly get at or above 60 at 3440x1440p with the High Preset and DLSS on Balanced, and I refuse to to use 78 console command just for the game to run slightly better. They really need to fix performance but based on how SE went, they probably won't. I really enjoy the game but sometimes it's hard to play because of how badly it runs. It's also hard to mess with the settings because the game is a crashfest for me whenever I try and do so.
Thanks for all the info. I tried all the settings, and at first began getting about 45 fps, then once I got into the additional console commands, the fps dropped to around 30. How do reset those to defaults?
im not sure either. someone help
i'm running on a GTX 1080Ti. will this work for that too?
How do i get all commands back to standard? 😅
Just type 1 instead 0
Honestly, the best Thing you can do is Play on "Low" on every setting (Just Put the Resolution Scala on 90 or 100). It really Looks fine and youll get Solid FPS even when Looking at water. Great Video helped a Lot ❤
0:45 Do you want to say that the developers did not provide for the use of all cores on the new engine with RTX. Who comes up with these commands at all
I did all the console commands and i dont like how some of them turned out. How can i revert the console commands
You are a hero
Thanks I was able to get 40-50 fps on 1080p resolution with rtx 3050 and i7-12650h 16gb ram laptop
Go to the forest or snow biome and your fps will drop to 15
I have a new rtx 4080 but the "RTX" option in the video settings is not showing up? Any idea how to enable this?
Ok ... How to reset all settings we made console commands ...
Is there a setting you need to acess console, because I have tried for sooooooo... long now and nothing is opening the console bar... pls HELP!!!
bro thank you
Pin my comment for the people with an RTX 4070
MY SETTINGS: For RTX 4070 and stable 60FPS (i dont need more for pve ark and i like when the game looks good, and rpg over 40fps are fine for me). I have no weird looking fast objects or shitty looking stuff, looks pretty good tbh.
Resolution: 2k
WindowedFullscreen

Res. Scale: 90
Adv. Graphics: High
Anti Aliasing: Medium
View Dis.: Epic

Post Pros.: High
Gen. Shadows: Epic (if llower youre shadows bugging
Global Illumination Quality.: Epic
Foliage Quality: High
"IMPORTNANT" max fps to 60, (look where youre fps are stable and lock the fps a little bit under it, so your GPU doesnt work on 100% all the time and you get very very less crashes!!*
Blur: Off
Bloom: Off
Light Shafts: Off
Low-Light Enhancemant ON (if its off you get very disturbing lights)
Foliage: off (like 5 more fps) if on use following:

Distance 2: 0.5
Quantity: 0.5
GUI 3D: 0.5
RTX:
DLSS: On
Fame Generation: On (On was making on release many problems, but after some updates i have no problems with it any more, boosts like 30 fps, its crazy, at release it lowered fps and made many crashes, but still, this WILL crash your pc if your graphicscard is overloaded, so, lock your fps there, where your GPU doesnt go over 95%!)
Super Res.: Balanced
Nvid. Low Latency: On
commands:
r.VolumetricCloud 0
grass.sizeScale 0.5 (normally on 1, makes tall grass tinier, so you can look over it easy
grass.densityScale 1.5 (normally on 3, 1.5 makes less grass, but still looks good and you gain 2-3 fps).
Just play a bit with the settings, foliage, advanced grapics making the biggest difference, my girlfriend plays with an rtx 2060 super with anything on medium exepts global illumination, shadows and view distance on high.
I don't like the effect on the water. How can i delete the command ?
How do I reset the commands from the start of the video? My games basically ruined now and I don't know how to undo the changes back to default... 😢
I used all the commands in your description and it made it look horrible. Is there a command to reset to default?
@@nickcrawford7251u need to add the default value to all the commands witch I’m pretty sure it’s just (1)
REMEMBER to update your graphics driver even reinstall it. It can give you 10-40 fps more
My dlss3 and frame generation say not supported. HAGS is on and it works in cyberpunk. Do you have any ideas why just ASA cannot turn it on? 4080 FE
Yo i used every command and now my ui has no picture like i cant see my health icon and my spear picture in my inventory wich command causes this?
every time I look at a forest or it starts to load one the game freezes and when I look in the task manager the processor is at 1%
How you activate the old console style on the bottom? I have only the new one with the ui
