Just purchased 4432. I'm new to leatherworking and I received my sewing machine today. I am now reading online people saying it's not good enough for leather and it's gonna struggle etc. Should I return it? I had read previously that it can handle leather but all these comments are putting me off
That looks beautiful. I have trouble finding a comparable thread over here unfortunately; do you think the Singer 4423 could take a 1mm or 1.2 mm Polyester thread or is that too thick? Or do you have a link for a good thread by any chance?

1mm or 1.2 mm is definitely too thick. The thickest the Singer 4423 could take is about 0.3mm
