I saw this music video for the first time on MTV2 late one night when I was about 13 or 14 and I was blown away! The next day I went and bought this CD. Always hoped I'd get a chance to see them live back then but unfortunately never did. The colorful ravey like ambiance with all the glowsticks/neon/strobes/UV lights with those crunchy, heavy riffs along with the hip hop/breakbeat style drums and cuttin' it up on the turntables combined with the intensity and energy of both the band and the crowd was like nothing I had ever seen before. Always seemed like my kind of vibe and has stuck with me ever since. Bummer I never got to experience a Crossbreed show in person but I'm grateful I got to experience this era in general. There was just something about the years from '97-'03 that I'll never forget. This song and video say it all IMO
I used to stay up late in the early 2000s with mtv2 in the background, this song and From zero's Check Ya! were super obscure songs I couldn't remember until now, what a trip down memory lane
I grew up to this band and many others from around that time. So many good bands and shows. If I could choose a time in my life I wanted to relive it would have to be my 90s and early 2000s..
Evey one has that "One Song" and I have to say this is mine. By far my most favorite back then and still is. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it! :D
2000-s were gold times, and had so much great bands in this style, that's why most of them remain underrated, because there were many of them, but they all were good
I remember this night at the birch hill. My friends band Tainted opened for them... Crossbreed played this song 2 or three times that night. I was under aged and over drugged. nu metal was never my thing but I had a good time being me, watching people do their thing no hate.
I seem this on MTV rock ! It was an all channel dedicated to metal/rock ! I was blown away too I bought the Cd and became a fan ! The early 2000"s middle school days playing tony hawks pro skater on PlayStation 💪🏼😫💪🏼💪🏼
are you kidding me? That look is CRAZY! The black lights with the makeup is what got this band noticed! but w/e, your tastes are yours and mine are mine. :p
I been a fan since 2000.. this vid makes me miss the old days :/ I saw them back in September when KE101 came out... their stage show is NOTHING like this anymore, but I still love em and always will and thats not a glowstick in Izzo's nose.. they use those neon wire ropes you can buy at PepBoys or Autozone that all the ricers with Honda Civics use to trim their dashboards and door panels with
charlie the bass player was a buddy of mine their from my hometown tampa they all just went separate ways i got charlie hooked on electro bass music but havent seen him in a hot minute cool dude too
New Slave Nation (EP) came out in 2005, however, on Wiki, there is an album simply listed as "Untitled New Album" due sometime in 2008. Nothing on the Crossbreed website though.
I still love these guys, are they still around? I lost track awhile ago, but I still listen to this album fairly regularly, and I always thought they blew bands like Slipknot and Mushroomhead out of the water, although I like those guys too. Another one I really want to see a return from is Mudvayne.
+heathenbreathinfire They are on a hiatus since 2010 I believe. I don' think they broke up, but they have no plans to tour or make music in the near future from what I can tell. If you are looking for more music by them, try looking up their album KE 101, their EP New Slave Nation, or their old album from before Synthetic Division, .01. That's what I did to satisfy my need for more Crossbreed haha
Saw the lead singers side project last night at the mushroomhead concert.. They call themselves Shutang. it' definitely rap, but it's funny as hell seeing James all gangstered out.

Yep. Merrillville, Indiana
Nice! I saw Shroomhead, Dope and Crossbreed in Ybor City FL.
Wish I could have been there. I know that must have been mind blowing.
How did they not become more popular with this song?
Early 2000s when u could get away with throwing hot sparks into the crowd
Badass track
They still do that during shows my buddy saw them last year in Florida and they were still spraying sparks.
Time goes by fast and I remember when I got this album.
It's that sweet hit of nostalgia.
My first Mushroomhead show had Crossbreed and Dope play. Good times man. hard to think that was 9 years ago. Love this fucking song.
+SkinnyMRH mine too. culture room :D

They were very good in their style
As long as I know they're back. At least, they've been talking about coming back and playing some new stuff lately.
Harder to believe it's just days away from 2020 and this song is every fucking bit amazing as it was 14+ years ago
I grew up to this band and many others from around that time. So many good bands and shows. If I could choose a time in my life I wanted to relive it would have to be my 90s and early 2000s..

I remember this night at the birch hill. My friends band Tainted opened for them... Crossbreed played this song 2 or three times that night. I was under aged and over drugged. nu metal was never my thing but I had a good time being me, watching people do their thing no hate.

Only reason I know about this band is because of MTV X. Great channel that got me into this awesome ass band!
dang. the audio editor for this music video didn't do such a good transition at 0:24. shoulda just left that 10 second keyboard intro in there.

This video was filmed in 2001 at the Birch Hill Nite Club (RIP) in Old Bridge, NJ. I'm relatively certain my band was one of the openers that night.
They live in my neighborhood. I met one of them in Target once, he was really nice.
I miss this band so so much
