With not very advanced video editing, it is sometimes much more convenient and faster to make an accessible effect in PR, especially since not every PR user has great skills in using AE, I personally like the tutorials of both programs equally, your tutorials are always interesting and informative.

Excellent tutorial! But say I wanted to output this cool lightning effect maybe 10 times, where each time I would use a totally different COLOR for the lightning ,and maybe with each output also having a different Width or number of Segments - is there some quick way to automate that by maybe referring to an external spreadsheet that Premiere could read the color data from and then apply it AUTOMATICALLY?

I am big fan of Jordy
Guys, once again you have pleasantly surprised me :) I didn't know it could be done so fast and could be done in Premiere. But... Still the downside is Premiere itself, which regularly surprises me with errors and bugs. Red messages, screen "flooded with milk"... Of course, in addition to the errors, the lags are invariable. I have a pretty good PC and Premiere still needs "thinking time" when I want to edit various .mogrt files. I'm really getting more and more serious about moving to some competing app ;/
