I'm sure I've heard her, but have to admit I didn't recognise the name Linda Ronstadt, but can't disagree with your choices. Very informative and enjoyable video

She has a great voice and I loved her with the 10,000 Maniacs. Their “unplugged “ album is really great. Didn’t think of her really as a rock singer though. Thank you for watching
Tina Turner is bizarrely underrated in some ways. She was doing hard rock vocals a full decade before Janis Joplin and Robert plant. She also is the connection between James Brown and hard rock which is rarely made. I think because of her 80's work younger people done realise her significance. Ike was fantastic too and is sadly dismissed by people who care more about movies than listening to the music
When we know more about music history we look at the artists in a different way. Many times this leads to a bigger appreciation of the artist and their music. Thank you for your comments and thank you for watching
My list would not include Tina or Patti. I would swap out Joan Jett and The 70s version of Taylor Swift, Carly Simon. I say that because they both dated all the hot famous guys of their era.😛🥰🤪

@@AllAboutAlbums No argument but to pad my case : Carly sold more catsup than all other singers combined male or female. Joan Jett survived The Runaways to become a star who could fill stadiums and play hard pop rock songs that the audience could sing along with.
