I worked at a Walmart in Elizabethville PA as a teenager. There was a man who would come in with his mother and they’d sit on the benches at the front by self check out just looking for little girls. I had to tell them to leave children alone more than once. I’d stare them both down so much that they would walk to the other end of the store to sit. We all knew what he was doing but our managers said we couldn’t “do anything” unless he got the little girls to come out to the parking lot. I didn’t care lmao one time I was on my break and I saw him walk up to a little girl offering a Paw Patrol DVD so I threw my vest back on and walked right up to him. 60 years.. probabably got like 60 minutes in jail. Our judicial system in the US treats predators like spongebob when he stole a balloon on free balloon day.
These kinds of cases are treated the same, regardless of ethnicity. As a survivor myself of childhood sa, I've spoken to many other survivors of the same, and their experiences were just like mine. Their abuser did less than half of the time they were sentenced to (anywhere from 1.5-5 years). Mine even had a violent priors on their record. Once they find thst they can cope with being socially ostracized in their communities, they realize that the consequences vs the reward isn't all that bad.
I do not understand how anyone with a charge relating to sexual assault of a minor can get out on any type of personal recognizance bond like that is honestly the scariest thing I’ve heard in my entire life. I was in the back of a cop car (they were giving me a ride home) and there is ZERO way out of that backseat unless they want you out, plus cops are pretty desensitized to most criminals so them just chit chatting after arresting the guy is basically the cop version of gossiping by the water cooler 🤣
Yep, same here. The back doors have no inside handles like a regular car, those have been removed. There is of course the partition between you and the front seat, and sometimes between the two parts of the back seat, splitting what would be a bench seat into bucket seats.
I've also been in the back of a cop car. My mom, my two sisters, and I were traveling. Our car broke down and a cop passed by and stopped to make sure we were okay. He gave us a ride to the nearest city so we could get a hotel for the night and get the car towed. I don't remember it too much because it was probably 10 or so years ago but I do remember thinking it was cool 😆
@@GmmBeastI don’t care what age you are, riding in a cop car while you aren’t going to jail is cool lol. I did it with some friends while hitchhiking across country when we were 21. Did it a few times and it was always pretty cool.
Unfortunatley he has not been convicted yet. I currently work with this man in which he can be around children as a part of his job. It's disgusting that this is allowed and he constantly lies to people at our job saying that it still wasn't him. People warned me from day one to stay away from him and I didn't know why until they showed me an article about his arrest. Hopefully that little girl gets justice and he is never around children ever again
Is he still at Bodega? Onalaska/La Crosse is my hometown! I finally moved away in 2022. I was so shocked when I heard Ken say Onalaska!! Never thought our little town would make it onto CTK
I seriously doubt that’s accurate, for someone pending a sentence up to 60 years he wouldn’t have contact with Children. Also he has been prosecuted it’s just unsure of how long he has been in jail
From what I found Josey Amann is still in the trial process. This is uncommon as sometimes it can take awhile for something to get to trial. Depends on the case, availability of witnesses, and number of other cases before it and since he was arrested beginning of 2023 it would be until this year he gets tried.Lots of times the Prosecution wants a rock solid case so there is no doubt
Bodycam footage says 2021. But yes, cases this serious can take ages to complete, which can include the defendant waiving speedy trial rights and lawyards/judges can push for further trial dates. We had a double murder trial near my area take 2.5 years before he was convicted
"Online court records show 30-year-old Josey Amann was charged Dec. 15 with first-degree child sexual assault and resisting an officer." This was Dec 2021.

To answer your question. The subpeanos to the third parties such as the card company and getting search or arrest warrants signed is what takes so long. The entire thing could be thrown out if you dont follow the legal procedures to a T.
The reason it takes so long is because of the prosecutor. Also this happened in La Crosse county, case Number.: 2021LC003862. He plead guilty to both charges on 12/08/2022 as part of a plea. His voice is saying “No way, bruh. That ain’t me!”
But his face, and his body language are saying “OH, SH*T! Gotta go fast!”
I was in the back of a cop car (they were giving me a ride home) and there is ZERO way out of that backseat unless they want you out, plus cops are pretty desensitized to most criminals so them just chit chatting after arresting the guy is basically the cop version of gossiping by the water cooler 🤣
Gossiping by the water cooler lol love this!😂
Yep, same here.
Did it a few times and it was always pretty cool.
yeah i felt the same. except i was 11 on a road trip being driven to a gas station because our car broke down in the middle of nowhere illinois

What?! At the start of 2023 is when this came out??? I could’ve sworn this video was old af!!
Yeah exactly, wouldn't want any chance they get free or a lighter sentence from lack of sufficient evidence.
Bodycam footage says 2021. But yes, cases this serious can take ages to complete, which can include the defendant waiving speedy trial rights and lawyards/judges can push for further trial dates. We had a double murder trial near my area take 2.5 years before he was convicted
It says 2021 on the bodycam. Also they wear masks (covid).
"Online court records show 30-year-old Josey Amann was charged Dec. 15 with first-degree child sexual assault and resisting an officer."
This was Dec 2021.
You could see him literally give up on the run as they got onto the road.
My man thought he could outrun cops when he clearly hasn't run since school.
I have a feeling that the cop knew that p3do would run just like last time so he came prepared to run a marathon if that's what it took. He's just being modest.
They don't do well in prison

In Wisconsin you can use CCAP to look up court cases both civil and criminal. This happened in December 2021, his next trial date is set for June 7th 2024.
Buff shaking shouting “TASE HIM! TASE HIM!!!” Is everything 😂
The fact that you have to explain Jared to the viewers is insane!! It makes me feel old and I’m only 19!!
It wasn't that long ago, in 2015. I remember, but I wasn't sure when and went "It had to be explained?!".

I wish that just once in my life I could be as excited for something as Dane is when he hears the officers yelling about tasers at 5:39
"I didnt get the 'run' vibe from him..." Really? Cus I sure did. As soon as he walked out. That stiff af way he held himself, the narrowed eyes, side-eyeing everything & everyone. I knew that dude was gonna try & bolt.
His breathing too! Preparing himself to run

7:02 the sooper troopers in my town wear dress shoes and pleated pants, formal guard attire. They're not prepared to run 😂😂😂
I work EMS. The sad thing is, yeah. That’s how we are on scene. Nothing really surprises us anymore. Just part of the job. But props to these guys for not giving up for 5 months to get enough for an arrest.
The fact he thought he might get away considering how slow he ran is hilarious.
It’s hard to run when you’re T posing.
Judging by his face, his diction, and his posture, he's not very bright. May have some IQ issues. The tough guy pose is not a pose. That's just how his body is.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder what the plan is when they start running. Like, there's no getaway car you can jump into, odds are they aren't going to outrun the cops, and there's usually nowhere for them to hide. So, were they just going to keep running... forever?

To answer your question. The subpeanos to the third parties such as the card company and getting search or arrest warrants signed is what takes so long.
The entire thing could be thrown out if you dont follow the legal procedures to a T.
"Subways been through enough" killed me 😂
The reason it takes so long is because of the prosecutor. Also this happened in La Crosse county, case Number.: 2021LC003862. He plead guilty to both charges on 12/08/2022 as part of a plea. I cannot find his sentencing
Edit: he has a few other cases. Cases number: 2018LC003210, he has domestic abuse battery x2, strangulation, domestic abuse disordly x2 and property damage. Most of those charges got dropped. But wtf
Good ole La Crosse , place has its own “MCU” in police body cameras
