I never even knew this version existed. I only knew about the other version because I was pissed when the album version and video version sounded different. It's nice to revisit this old but badass song. Kudos for the post of rock awesomeness.
These guys know how to make music like drowning pool. This is the real shit right here, not that new gen hip hop, rap and blues, pop rap bullshit that they on the radio these days. I love music like this, and I was like only 2 years old when these guys came out. We need more music like this played on the radio, instead of everything else combined with hip hop.
god the were awesome so melodic and heavy TEN DEAD FINGERS!!!!!!!! this was the golden age of metal for me switched pulseultra taproot flaw five point 0 i miss those days, no concert over 20$

I love this band, song and video. I wish they would reunite some day if possible
Saw this band on one of the side stages at a concert umpteen years ago, got the Cd, loved it then never heard anything after! Nobody else I know has ever heard of them.. Thanx for the post
I’m going to say it here, and I might say it somewhere else that’s related to this band, but: Happy 20th Birthday to the reckless album that is Subject to Change! Awesome tunes!
Switched > Taproot imo... It's really, REALLY too bad these dudes ain't around anymore (although their members may or may not be in different bands and/or projects *currently*)... 🗣 Long live Switched! ‼️ And; *Inside will always* be my favorite tune by them, ofc ntm mate! 🤘 🤘 🤘
I heard that this album actually sold 200,000 copies, but they were on a big label, and that didn't cut it, and they eventually got shuffled to the bottom of the deck during a label merger. Thats just what I heard.
BTW after their first album they went into a status um nothing..then when corporate punishment came along they get all their songs from their second album and put them on a cd...though it a rough copy its still very good. This video is not on this re release but there are some awesome songs on it. Switched is pretty much broken up and doing their own thing but as well all know they were awesome.
It just uploaded my vhs rip of the other version, it is from a VHS, but at least it's 480p and i removed all the extra borders, beats the other 240p version on here
+Doug Funny Definitely doesn't seem like it...and I've been looking pretty much ever since UA-cam started. I've only seen one small clip of Anymore, but that was a looong time ago.
From the little I've heard, they really were awesome live. I have a couple live recordings, from their EP called "Spread Your EP". It has Anymore, Religion, Ten Dead Fingers, and Four Walls, all live versions. Ben's voice sounds great on every song, and the band sounds full of energy. It would be awesome to see pro-shot live videos, though. Sucks they probably don't exist. I'd settle for a shitty cell phone recording, at this point, haha.
It was, dude... They opened the side stage for Ozzfest 2002 (or was it 03?), and they rocked awesomely, even though it was 10 am in the lovely sunny friggin' hot South California day... ...
he wanted to tend to his family more so he left...he still is friends with Mushroomhead and sometimes makes suprise appearances at there live shows to do a song part...
There are alot of bands from this time period that were really good, but I think the labels were in some serious termoil or something, because so many bands just never got a fair shake, especially when they were doing well. Alot of these bands would do great right now with the whole D.I.Y movement with more internet capabilities for promotion, and networking !!! Some good bands I saw live were, 40 Below Summer, & Switched,as mentioned....Plus....Kilgore, Downer, Pressure 4-5, to name a few.
@stabbingswestward not sure...drummer is with BB...I know what you mean this music was epic 10 yrs ago or 8 or so....when 7Dust was blowing up good times!!!
@chops270 i've always had issues finding drummers and vocalists personally....nobody wants to take the time to be a good singer, and nobody wants to spend the money to be a drummer :P
Saw these guys at the vans warped tour in little rock. Fucking awesome show but there was maybe 40 people watching... honestly thought they were part of the sound check crew when they started playing. And the singer was in the crowd all day long chugging the fuck out of some red bull... dude must have drank at least a couple of cases
I seen this band 7 times when I was in high school. I thought they were so fucking awesome. They aren't a Korn rip off because Korn fucking sucks and all bands gotta get inspiration from something.
If you like this song you can also try to listen Alone band from Poland :) We've recorded new album and videoclip "Lies" is the one of the tracks on it. Listen, comment and share! Enjoy! :)
The only thing thats even close to Korns' sound is the fact these guys play 7 string guitars too...like Korn. Other than that they sound nothing like Korn.
They ARE still around...they just have a completely different output of sound now. Pretty disappointing. I'd give them another chance to redeem themselves, though.
I miss this band, this album is so well composed.
Skrape was another band that just reminded me of these great years of Nu metal....
wow this version is so much better
100x

I was 8 when this came out wish I was a teenager back then music was way better
Какая же крутая группа, жаль что мы больше никогда не услышим этих мощных композиций. Я сейчас просто офигевая какая крутота. Спасибо ребятам.
Ben (the singer) is a great drummer and and even better producer/engineer.
god the were awesome so melodic and heavy TEN DEAD FINGERS!!!!!!!!

BC Kochmit, the guitarist in Switched, has a new band called Eye Empire
Ésta canción sería perfecta para un GMV de FlatOut 2.

I love Switched, I miss this style of rock. Don't hear much like this anymore.
Does anyone know if they're still banded?
I’m going to say it here, and I might say it somewhere else that’s related to this band, but:
Happy 20th Birthday to the reckless album that is Subject to Change! Awesome tunes!
Ah yes. Chad Szeliga (drummer) Pre-Breaking Benjamin Days. Still amzingly talented, however!

Ihmo Taproot had more Deftones/KoRn sound, when Sw1tched was more like Sevendust, Union Undeground or Drowning Pool sound ;]

Why do I like this video more?
I wanna party with Ben!! Switrched is so awsome wish they were still around, the best band in cleveland area!

I was waiting for someone to post this version of the Inside video.
I like this video of inside better than the other one. Switched just plain kicks ass.
I heard that this album actually sold 200,000 copies, but they were on a big label, and that didn't cut it, and they eventually got shuffled to the bottom of the deck during a label merger. Thats just what I heard.
3 most underrated Nu Metal bands: 40 Below Summer, Level, and Swtiched
I smoked weed with these dudes. Pisses me off they weren't more famous.
reminds me of mudvayne. in the nu pogressive genre. also he said are you happy now quoting the mudvayne song
BTW after their first album they went into a status um nothing..then when corporate punishment came along they get all their songs from their second album and put them on a cd...though it a rough copy its still very good. wish I could get a singer like this guy...good singers are so tough to come by so many shit heads think they can sing
i know the singer and guitarist cousin, Sam Zimmerman. she is on of the guitarists in the band i'm in. anyway, i love the song!
@Connorpei YES! 40 Below Summer is one of the most underrated bands, period! Never heard of Level but I will check them out, Thanks!

+Doug Funny Definitely doesn't seem like it...and I've been looking pretty much ever since UA-cam started. I've only seen one small clip of Anymore, but that was a looong time ago.
shit it would be cool just to see that. Its a shame they were probably amazing live.

He said Drowning pool! WTF?
Switched has been around forever. Some people just don't get it.
TA BUENA LA BANDA
I seen this band 7 times when I was in high school. I thought they were so fucking awesome. They aren't a Korn rip off because Korn fucking sucks and all bands gotta get inspiration from something.
Epitome of nu metal
Why J Mann left Mushroomhead?
If you like this song you can also try to listen Alone band from Poland :) We've recorded new album and videoclip "Lies" is the one of the tracks on it. Listen, comment and share! Enjoy! :)

The only thing thats even close to Korns' sound is the fact these guys play 7 string guitars too...like Korn. Other than that they sound nothing like Korn.
although... i have no idea what ben schigel was thinking when he did his hair. i mean, what the fuck
mich wundert es das slipknot nicht vor kommt
It's a shame you can't find this version of this song in good quality, the music video one sucks.
They ARE still around...they just have a completely different output of sound now. Pretty disappointing. I'd give them another chance to redeem themselves, though.
Can't afford renew utube
