Looks cool …. You probably already know this, but if not little draft may help a lot de- molding around the details. Something like 5 degrees or so. Tapered single flute bits are cheap and may work fine in that pink foam.
maybe try using self leveling for a thin base coat where the details are going to be and then fill the rest as you have been.maybe you can grease the detailed area as well. Edit : find a way to make your mold not so porous ( brush epoxy on it?)

Sounds dumb but a little bit of diesel fuel on your mold will help it release, i see concrete guys spray it on form boards all the time
not dumb at all! i heard that WD40 (which i used on this test) was good too. Cheaper than "real" mold release products i think haha
