Alright I'm gonna need this be a four parter because I need to know a) what happened to Lisa, b) whether the DS working this case will be able to balance her work life and family.
Yeah - I hate that brat of a daughter who keeps getting into trouble at school and interfering with her (single) mother's work!! And the way SHE turns into a bratty child every time her handsome, manly, concerned, but estranged husband comes by hoping to re-assume his role in their lives! I think maybe I've just become too invested in this series; I've gotta stop watching ......
Not until the penultimate scene of the final episode. The final scene will, of course, overturn that and be a cliffhanger into the next series that you didn't know had already been commissioned.
@@couponsteveBUT then we find out that the version that got in with the wrong crowd was actually the evil twin, and THAT’S the body they found, and Lisa’s actually been kidnapped this whole time and we need to go rescue her NOW!
Wait a minute, not only are you very funny - but seeing this kind of skit makes me realize just how good your acting is! It was good before, but this really shines. Way to go! Love your content!!
Another cliche in crime dramas is how they crumble and confess so easily. "....we were best friends...we did everything together...but yeah, she always did it better than me. I hated her! So yeah...I killed her. and some kittens." They only asked if they wanted a cup of tea.
To be fair, I have pretty bad anxiety, and I could totally see myself doing that! Like, my brain would go: “Tea? Oh no they’ve noticed that I’m nervous! That’s obviously why they’re offering me tea! I bet it’s written all over my face. Oh no have I been silent for too long? Yeah, I have. It’s too late, I’m acting too suspicious (*meanwhile 2 seconds have actually passed*). I bet they figured out everything already! They must hate me. It’s over. Might as well try to explain myself.” ( *Blurts out confession while sobbing profusely*) Some of us just don’t have the nerves to do crimes lol. Heck, even watching crime thrillers stresses me out!
I mean that is like the most realistic thing about police shows, of course they never show ten years later the person getting released because new evidence proves they didn’t do it but they got gaslit and pressured by the police into giving a false confession
What's strange is that no one uses the 5th amendment even though the TV show shows the police reading them their Miranda rights. They're always like: blah blah blah ... OK, I admit it, I did it!
I can play this out for you: If GDiddly is the first suspect, either a) she's not guilty, and there'll be several more arrests until the guilty party is discovered, or b) she is guilty, and the interviewing DI 'knows it', she has a 'gut feeling', which case...The DCI will eventually burst into the room and demand GD be released immediately due to lack of evidence. This will result in a heated argument between the DC and the DI ( the crime solver never gets on with their boss in these stories). This will be in spite of the DI solving every other murder in the series despite the protestations of her boss. The DC will, however continue to pursue DG until she's relieved of the case, for being too close to it. This, of course doesn't dissuade her at all. She doggedly carries on, eventually uncovering the vital clue that proves GD guilty.
I saw someone who looked just like you today, and even though I knew it wasn’t you, I still wanted to go up to her and start chatting like a proper Yorkshire mum 😆 she got in her car before I had chance, which was probably for the best because I know I would have chatted as if I knew her and as if she knew me 😆😂🤣😝🤪 and like she also knew the joke
Give this woman her own show already. She's clearly demonstrated that you don't even have to cast other actors, she can obviously play every part necessary, you'll save on actor salary that way.
If this crime drama follows the old CSI trope, then it's the 3rd suspect they question that's the killer. So first person currently interviewed isn't it, nor letter writer if they go straight to them. But when they go back to first person's house to let them know the letter was a red herring, that's when they meet the first person's husband at the front door...
Well that letter seems to be in your own handwriting. Perhaps if Lisa hadn't had an affair with your boyfriend and stolen your identity you would't have had to kill her, isn't that true giddlydog?
It was impressive seeing you in a more serious role. Yes, there was a bit of humour but you carried the interviewee role really well and the sketch took on a darker vibe. You've got some great diversity going on!
“-Am I not allowed to take a walk where I lived -At 2 in the morning?” This reminds me of: “So, you left the house at 2:00 am..it was minus 16 degrees. And, and where were you going? Subway? Sandwiches!?”
Then he finds a symbol on in the corner of the letter, his friend would say it's for a very dangerous gang, goes to the bar (because every gang has a bar,) gets busted, runs away miraculously, back to the point of zero, clue, friend betrayal, the end.
I don't think this lady did it, but I'll bet she and Lisa had a struggle over Damien and that's what had her upset walking the park at 2am. These new people that Lisa has been hanging around with need investigating, for sure!
Was this pwrson initially reslly friendly and cooperative with the police but then little details about them began to be unravelled by various clues and mutual acquaintances?
You need to get into acting on television. You'll translate it into screenwriting or directing or producing as soon as you have the industry experience. Agents and studios will fight to book you once you've dealt with a little rejection and you've learned to present your portfolio with the confidence it justifies.
I love how it's that the person is always shifty and for some reason makes a pointless lie, they will be Lisa's sister and love with Lisa at the time and then claim they never met her before, for no reason at all.
Is Lisa a person? Is Lisa the family cat who ripped into the sofa arm once too often? What’s in the envelope and why is there no stamp on it? The mystery deepens…
Going from "I told you everything I know!" to "here is a key piece of evidence i have been holding onto and carrying around for just this moment."
Haha love it. I saw you walking at 2am as I was drowning Lisa.
Was literally just watching an old crime watch episode and this came up. 🇬🇧 🤣🤣👍
We need you on the telly!
I remember this episode! She went down for murder and then in the last scene of the season finale you see Lisa in Portugal with her new man
WTF killed her! We still don't know!

that's a good shout, make sequels to this. then the insufferable prequels, then the money spinner origin story.
yeah, and will someone from the DS's past have something to do with the case and go to kidnap her child?
We're never going to find out what happened to Lisa are we?
Not until the penultimate scene of the final episode. The final scene will, of course, overturn that and be a cliffhanger into the next series that you didn't know had already been commissioned.

This is way too accurate
I don't watch many crime dramas but do they have this much Northern representation?
@@morbidsearchof course, that's where all the crime happens

I'm calling it: this is the red herring character. The one who actually is innocent, but looks shady for another reason altogether.
Turns out she had a sneaky look at Lisa's 6 year old daughter's maths work during school pickup 'just to see if her son is keeping up' 😂
Someone get this woman in a black comedy on TV ASAP she'd be amazing she's so watchable.
fuck TV, YT is better
Yeah, maybe she'd be good on Emmerdale.
you type gay

She was like a sister to me! :(
Your acting is always spot on
I've seen this scene structure a hundred times. You're too good, it's really amazing
Well, to be fair, it wouldn't be much of a scene or much of a story if they just sat down and spilled the beans ...!
Most of these are quite comical but this woman is actually a very good actress and should be given a part in something.
Wait a minute we never said anything about someone called Lisa… get on the ground!
this girl makes me so happy. fabulous.
Your acting is fantastic. I'm desperate to hear what happedned to Lisa...

Perfectly done. The exposition and the mystery envelope is classic. #WhokilledLisa
I'm hooked, can we have a mini shorts series on "Who killed Lisa"?! Pretty please?!
Lisa is the new Laura Palmer.

As usual never disappoints.
This is some proper brill acting. Send it off to an agent would be my advice, you’ll go far one day I’m sure :D
This was a bit different. It seems that in addition to being extremely funny, she's also a talented actor.
Just needs an eerie drone note underneath and it's a top tier BBC drama
