I'm a member of a couple online paint groups and I ALWAYS steer people your way. You are so generous and so darn prolific! The things I appreciate most are you having just the right amount of "chat", using such a basic assortment of colors, minimal paintbrushes, showing onscreen the colors to use, and your videos are a perfect length. Plus, my Michelle paintings always turn out great! I get excited opening up my notifications and seeing that black shirt :)
I agree... Soothing voice, great pace, clear instruction with a straight to the point "why". Most leave off the "why" when giving instructions as they teach and that leaves us imitating them rather than having them teach us the technique. I love it and I'm hooked😊

I’ve just finished this painting. As a novice, for me it was a challenge, but I loved every minute of it. My background colour turned out a lot darker than I intended, but I’m still very happy with it. I traced the fairies then transferred to the canvas, as there is no way I could free hand paint them, it would have definitely been a disaster. Thank you.

Michelle, thank you so much for your detailed explanation of everything. It was like you were reading my mind. I went out for a meditation walk through the park. I was so happy to be with the trees in nature. As I walked along a bird dropped a ring from the tree right in front of me. I bent down to pick it up and saw the most beautiful dandelion in the grass.I put the ring on the bench, hoping that owner would find it. I almost picked the dandelion to make a wish but my intuition told me otherwise. I left it for someone else to make a wish. Later that night in my sound healing class. One of the ladies said that in her meditation she saw me as a dancing fairy. Anyways, My intention was to paint an owl. That night I came home thumbing through different artists and ran across you. And found the dandelion and fairy Tutorial. Talk about synchronicity’s. It was a done deal, I had to paint it, there’s was no going back to my Owl. Thank you so much for teaching me. I learned a great deal in the 9days it took me to paint it. Thank you again…🌺✨💫💐
The strangest thing happened today. I had just finished watching your entire video at home when my daughter was walking home from her friend’s house at the same time. As soon soon as she came in through the door she said, “Mom, you should see the beautiful dandelions up on the hill.” I’m going to give your painting a try. I have been watching you for years and every time I'm more and more entranced. I have never painted anything as I've only just begun and never had the confidence. I had a small folding table and when I watched this tutorial I knew it was the perfect one. I have a dandelion rug too so it was meant to be. It took me two afternoons, around 8 hours but I did it and I was totally amazed at how it turned out. I'm very proud of myself. So thank you very much for sharing your talents and your kindness ❤
Finally found an artist that someone new to painting can really learn from. Thank you for not spinning around in circles in a field and really teaching people how to paint.
So I know you hear it all the time... how much your work is appreciated, how amazing it is that you make art possible for so many of us who have said our whole lives, "Oh, I'm not an artist." I've learned that I *am* am artist, partially because of your amazing tutorials and your generosity in sharing them with the whole world. In my work with kids (elementary age) I've begun making sure they understand that they are artists, too. We have many art activities. In addition, some really good art supplies that are stowed in a cabinet that they have to ask for. (Prismacolor pencils, acrylic paints, etc). I always say yes, but because those supplies are tucked away, they treat them with great reverence. And they create amazing art. Later this school year, we will be painting from your cookies and canvas series. I can't wait to see what they do. So you're not just helping ME create, it's rippling out into the world through 'my' kids. And hopefully they'll think of themselves as artists from a young age. It's a good feeling.

This is a beautiful painting with such clear instruction. I took pieces of it and painted a dark green wine bottle with the main dandelion and the dancing fairies and added small cork lights inside. I had done this for my friend's grand-daughter. I plan to do the whole painting on a canvas. So beautiful!

I have been watching you for years and every time I'm more and more entranced.
I have never painted anything as I've only just begun and never had the confidence.
I had a small folding table and when I watched this tutorial I knew it was the perfect one. I have a dandelion rug too so it was meant to be.
It took me two afternoons, around 8 hours but I did it and I was totally amazed at how it turned out. I'm very proud of myself.

So I know you hear it all the time... how much your work is appreciated, how amazing it is that you make art possible for so many of us who have said our whole lives, "Oh, I'm not an artist." I've learned that I *am* am artist, partially because of your amazing tutorials and your generosity in sharing them with the whole world. In my work with kids (elementary age) I've begun making sure they understand that they are artists, too. We have many art activities. In addition, some really good art supplies that are stowed in a cabinet that they have to ask for. (Prismacolor pencils, acrylic paints, etc). I always say yes, but because those supplies are tucked away, they treat them with great reverence. And they create amazing art. Later this school year, we will be painting from your cookies and canvas series. I can't wait to see what they do. So you're not just helping ME create, it's rippling out into the world through 'my' kids. And hopefully they'll think of themselves as artists from a young age. It's a good feeling.

This is a beautiful painting with such clear instruction. I took pieces of it and painted a dark green wine bottle with the main dandelion and the dancing fairies and added small cork lights inside. I had done this for my friend's grand-daughter. I plan to do the whole painting on a canvas. So beautiful!
