    I swear I just keep going back and watching your videos. The vids are just so informative. Thanks! And you just seem like such a fun, optimistic person. I love your fearlessness when it comes to working on your bike. I'm not much of a mechanic, and it's very encouraging.

      Oh, I forgot to mention that the reason I've been watching is because I'm debating whether or not to get a vulcan. Well, I would have to say you've convinced me 😂. Thanks for that, too. Come to Kentucky USA and ride some cool, hilly back country. 😊

      Yeah??!! That's awesome! It's a great bike. Hopefully you'll love it as much as I do. Get ready for all the mods lol! You'll have to film some Kentucky country and put it on youtube so I can see what I'm missing out on.

    That led headlight upgrade was amazing. Definitely want to do something like that for both the Griso and the cb125e.

    Another great video. Thank you for showing all your current, past and future mods. I have to use bar ends as I am a big unit and with the stock mirrors i couldn't see around my chest/shoulders. Having them mounted up rather than down makes a huge difference for the better. I love my backrest, I do sit all the way back in my seat and its so so good for my lower back.
    Have you thought about a horn mod. I was thinking of getting a Denali SoundBOMB from R&G or the Wolo Full Blast or even the Hella Super Tone. The current horn is a bit tinny I reckon.
    Cant wait to see the LED Plug and plays, will be interested in them for sure.

    Shock covers = Convaluted Boots.😂 Wow! your mods are so expensive compared to the UK. I saw a guy complaining on youtube about the price of your screen in the states $600.00 over here in the UK they are less than a third of the price £130.00 GBP. Generally the newer the vechicle the more expensive the upgrades, we have found this with a 2019 car of late to. we need to be careful with L.E.D lights as some of the annual MOT testers are failing the bulbs for having no definition. Thats a very cool looking headlamp unit though. makes you wonder why it doesnt come with the bike.

    Your seat looks awesome, like the green stitching, however my seat is good, I have heard people complaining about them before, mine looks original, the bikes preowned so maybe first owner did something, a bit of a mystery.. I have two sets of spots so have fitted crash bars. Like the tail tidy, been thinking about it for a while, maybe after next tour, number plate cracked and just hanging on by one bolt, thats next.

    • @TheVSChick
      @TheVSChick  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks Roger!! I absolutely love it. The stock seat is terrible so it's interesting to hear that you haven't had a problem with it. Perhaps you're right in thinking the previous owner tweaked it somehow. Either that or you have a bum of steal!!! Haha. Good job with the crash bars. And sounds like you need a tail tidy! Better keep that numberplate on somehow! 😁

      I also have a versys 300X for the occasional jaunt off tarmac, and it’s seat is famous for being extremely uncomfortable, had it rebuilt now fine, cost a few bob, but well worth it. Lasted me 10,000kms touring Thailand couple years ago pre Covid, from top to bottom when my son and family came over for Xmas and New Year in Phuket. Hope to do some extensive touring up north on the Vulcan very soon. There are some challenging twisties and hills which are going to be fun.

    How bright is your hog light?

      Thanks Joseph! 😊😊😊😊
      The Hoglight is super bright. Got my riding buddy to ride in front and let me know how they look at night. She reckons it's comparable to newer model cars with LED headlights. It seriously lights up the road!! Woot woot! Also thanks for the tip on the floorboards. I'll keep that in mind 🙂

    • @colincampbell3601
      @colincampbell3601 3 роки тому +1

      I did the bulb also, went with a newer cheap passive cooled one and worked like a charm so far ($38). Gives off less heat than the original incandescent. Couldn't justify the cost of the hog as my night riding time is practically zilch. Put the Kurakyn mini floorboards on mine, changes the muscles you use to change gears, so added a heel shifter. The floorboards are slightly narrower than the peg (more lean angle) but don't fold. Haven't scrapped them yet to see what they do. In the distance.... watch for non OEM exhaust changes, read yesterday where in NY state they've just introduced a law to the effect that non OEM exhausts (or ones that you personally have to have verified for emission standards) can no longer be registered or something to this effect.

    The plug doesn't make it LAMS approved its the throttle bolt that is the restrictor which is what allows it to be LAMS approved. The plug is just a diagnostic plug for the dealership. Considering it has the booster plug, it's been derestricted & has an exhaust its no longer LAMS approved loll

    • @TheVSChick
      @TheVSChick  3 роки тому +1

      🙂 You're 100% on everything except the plug. There are obviously different regulations/laws etc depending on where you are... however in Australia there is a restrictor wiring loop that is connected to the diagnostic plug that talks to the computer... ultimately reducing the power by about 14hp. Having said that though... the other modifications are a little concerning. 😬😬😬
