i played Vanguard for a bit a long time ago in college. I loved the Battle Sisters theme :D and the floral Musketeers. Battle Sisters were the only one i could complete tho. How is the game now? what deck would you recommend to getting back into vanguard :) Thank you for this vid :) I think it was called Oracle :D loved that! hoping they still have that style.

Hello! Right now the game as you knew was rebooted! But the old version you played also still exists! We have multiple formats now in vanguard. This video/product was for the standard format that only uses the new cards. And really fun and I would recommend! We dont have battle sisters per say but we have a deck called Hexaorb Sorceress which is very familiar to players of Oracle think tank! We also have floral musketeers in terms of asthetic with Lianorn and Rorowa!
These contain 4 copies of all cards so no. However the cards inside them are not the best as they dont have effects and are vanilla for teach purposes.
Can't they just maintain the rules without adding too many new features in new cards like the energy counter?? Not sure how does it work but as a beginner I just got Overdress
Dont worry! this doesnt change the rules too much and this product is designed to teach you the change specifically! The energy is pretty simple. You get it (the generator) when you ride the g1 from your ride deck. Every ride phase you get 3 energy (which you keep track on the counter) and if went second you start with an extra 3! You can use energy to pay for costs, in which case you just reduce the number you have (if I have 6 energy and an effect ask for 3 energy, If I pay the cost I get to use the effect but my energy goes down to 3!) Hopefully that makes sense and lemme know if you have any questions!

@@gamershideout89-ke2vn overdress and divinez are the same format! Cards in from overdress and divinez are used in the same format with is called standard.
@@gamershideout89-ke2vn yes! Its a new resource system that just allows for a new layer of gameplay. New cards can have a new cost, new decks can revolve around the mechanic, while old cards can benefit from using a new resource
Just curious, i haven't kept up since G season 1 but did trial/starter decks always not have skills? I dont remember there being so many vanilla cards :0
No for whatever reason this product specifically has all vanilla cards. The reasoning from Bushiroad being that these decks will be used in their teach sessions for vanguard so they wanted to simply it as much as possible.
@@temmieduck2646 Yes! We had some a while back that were a nice deal cause you a deck, some extra cards, a deck box, sleeves and a storage box! We also have the stride deck sets which are ready to play decks that have been very competitive right out the box and all have effects. They will actually be releasing constructed deck products for the premium format this summer too!

as someone who is new to vanguard, what deck do you recommend. i hear a lot of good and bad things about this trial deck but what do you think is best?
Thats a pretty loaded question thats hard to answer without knowing more about what you are looking for. If you want a deck product specifically to start playing competitively, you can get any of the stride deck sets as those are the most competitive ready decks out of the box. These trial decks are not the best as they need to be upgraded with new cards to be more playable. I have a video on how to upgrade each one of them on my channel, if you want/have these.
Here's what you do with these: Take the Crisitanos, go 0-X at locals, then get the Cristianos stuff in Divine Set 1

It's the sleeves, but they literally sold a demo deck. Heck the Japanese variant shouldn't really cost anything more than 2$
