Can definitely understand how you feel about your “History of Vanguard” series. You mentioned that all the series is at its core is you “regurgitating” information which is 100% correct. However it’s never been presented before, even through other creators within the space. As someone who only managed to barely eke out one video last year despite insisting on starting an entire 6+ part series, I definitely empathize with the frustration of life derailing the creative spark. Especially in the case of long-form videos like History of Vanguard where the gap between the "creation" and "payoff" stages of the process is substantially longer and thus can (at least from my experience) make it feel like nothing is being *truly* accomplished until you finally put the finished product in front of people to interact with. But here's to 2025 being better for us all, mate. I'll be rooting for you to hit that big 4k.

I've been playing the deck but I have a quick question at the moment of activating and calling as you put in the example let's say I have 18 and I call hardening from soul and any other rear guard, I activate the effect of hardening, I get to 20, does the guard with 3 effect goes off as well?

Absolutely love the Veidrock tech, that cards is craaaaaazy and I'm so glad other people also think it can be more flexible than Forwd in certain builds! Another really funny one of I think deserves a mention is Metallize Erosio, being able to just drop it behind vanguard using baro's skill to shut down all the archetypal boosters the divine skill decks have is just evil, especially when Rezael and Levidras are looking like some of the strongest decks in format

It’s a Christmas miracle!

Watching this in 2024 looking to get back in the game and after pricing out a few decks the game is simply unaffordable and not worth the investment for visual players who won’t be playing at tournament. I priced out a fully loaded Razael deck yesterday and it was roughly $650. The grade 1 and 2 cards that are hitting $25-30 that are a mandatory 4 of for several decks in a nation that might have 4 archetypes is inexcusable. Bushiroad is artificially creating this high demand by selling halfway built decks and then selling players the “support” they need to “finish” the deck later. I’d love to see somebody make a video about this because as a long time player (I’ve been playing since like 2013) who wants to buy into new product and play standard, I can’t help but be frustrated with what seems to be predatory practice of artificial built in demand on bushi’s part.

To clarify - these Manamoon deck boxes fit standard size cards (Pokemon, etc) that also have an outer sleeve on them? Dragon Shield outer, in addition to traditional standard sleeves, for example?

Omg this game is still going. I haven't played since the original decks came out. They was like $20 each and I made the spike Brothers deck because they were football players.

Not personally a fan of Lateefa, you'll regularly find that your board is clogged if you aren't playing a retire matchup (like Varga or Welstra). Especially since your frontrow already has competition in Fanvare and Ezerwur Vyrgilla Grade 3 + Stardust Blade are already giving you 2 rears each turn. Lateefa's main value is on turn 2 to help you easily hit the threshold for Vyrgilla Grade 2s crit. I find that the Stoicheia/Dragon Empire Dual nation does the job better as the token given is unconditional to the order play which you have to hard mulligan for to play turn 2. Both are expensive though, and the Dual Nation is a "from hand" effect Also, since Vyrgilla grade 3 only revives grade 2 units, having some copies of a grade 2 with boost (such as Inductance Dragon) is paramount to actually benefit off of the revive, again because the board is just clogged a lot of the time. Your ideal revive is Ezerwur every turn, but you really should have at least 2 copies of Inductance for booster corner cases (it also can grab order but the top 7 isnt a guaranteed hit so i wont argue there over folks who want to play Justina instead)
