Other Key Highlights: 1. I tried the G2 that retires itself at the end of battle to get a Normal Order from drop to hand. I ran into scenarios where I needed the Order the same turn or it fighting over a 2nd beater column. Bist is overall better and it also serves as a booster. 2. You can play other Ride Lines to give some different direction early on too. Special thanks to MaleficZero for brainstorming with me as well.
Cristianos time! I totally agree on Prevailing Dragon Vs Dragontree Wretch, Bist Aiyatvas. Prevailing on paper seems amazing but every time I use it, he just feels like he triggers too late and fails to do the job. Did you consider Yearnful Flower Maiden, Florence? She's basically a mini Hendrina & Caryophyllus but rolled into 1 card and comes with additional power/shield. She also pairs extreamly well with Spiritual King of Aquatics, Idosfaro in this deck giving you another option to recover pieces that have been milled. Regarding Battle Siren, Philantia, I reccomend using Conceited Noble, Philander. (Though he does come with a price tag so is definately not budget friendly!). They both have +10k effects but Philander doubles as a booster & has a more selective mill when played from hand.
Thanks for watching and your feedback! Yep exactly Prevailing conflicts since you want to swing with beaters starting at Turn 3. Florence is a G3 which also runs into the Prevailing Dragon scenario. I would have either a main phase Soul Charge or a booster SCer. Yep Blue OT can be used instead too. I've considered reducing Philantia since I'm usually able to consistently at least 1 Severin by the time I need it. Perhaps more boosters or something that adds to consistency. Philander is a great booster but you're making great numbers by just the beaters, since you're able to get 15 in drop on Turn 3 consistently. One annoying thing is that his mill skill has to be him being called from hand. So that's why I looked into Bilber and Hendrina more. Hope that helps flesh out feedback.
@@CommanderJaime That's fair, I've not found Florence to have the same issue as Prevailing Dragon myself. But I only aim for 10 by 1st G3 turn myself since Nectar really wants a restander, and my build is very differen't as well. If you're looking for more consistency for this deck Idosfaro & Florence can't be beaten IMO. Otherwise you're pretty much left with generic draw cards. Generic Draw wise most are CBs and tend to add CB issues to the deck from my testing since Cristianos is at a perfect balance for CBs with himself & Aiyatvas. Philander on his own definately doesn't mill enough. But I like that he can trigger Pre-G3 & selective milling can correct things like Nectar access as well. Otherwise he's basically Philantia anyway.
@@drigon100 yeah it can definitely vary on how a build is made. Cards serve different roles and different builds. Very good point on Philander vs Philantia. Very similar in power.
How good is the deck and what’s your take on playing “bad” decks like this and not meta deck? Is there any value in playing underrated decks like this?
This deck is pretty fun sandbox where you can slap any generic Stoi cards and deck works regardless of what you put. I personally run the Token rush with Mushroom and Rorowa Ridelines, bring Yolanda to kill Tokens for draw and extra power early game.
I really like the variety of build potential this deck has at the moment. Im playing it mid range with still some deck thinning but more aggresively drawing than milling. Running 4 shrooms to make a full board ASAP Then usually I can capitalize that as soon as turn 1 with my emilios that soul blast to draw and get power which further helps with my rush down Shrooms also help fund every soul cost for the game so ive never needed to use the panic button sc2 Unit. Power lines for the Restanding G3 ranges around the 43k-68k power by turn 4 when I nectar plus I play the Tideline which can make my front row essentially +20k on Persona Ride. Depending on opponent I can usually push to 3-4 damage before even getting to G3 which by persona ride turn is when to close it out.
Thanks for sharing! Yeah I can totally see the spamming of Burrow Mushroom. It's a great card overall. I'm hoping future support will be good and can help elevate the deck overall. It'll be interesting if there's a way to have certain cards count as a G3 Cristianos. Without being limited to 4 attacks and only Persona Riding over and over.
@@CommanderJaime I feel whatever it is will be a shared gimmick between all of the QSD. My Pie in the sky theory is it will be a reride/masque esque thing that will share the names of the originals in all zones and that if going 2nd/turn 4 going 1st will technically cheat out 2 Christianos into soul a turn and maybe tuck itself into soul at the end of the turn to ride a base Chris at rest.
@@CommanderJaime yes. I firmly am of the belief the QSD bosses have something they are building towards with all the consistent and parallel support they are getting and that they only get a bad rap from the product they were in. Almost as if they are trying to build them up like the original 5 Overdress Starter decks that all were pretty closely linked until after they got G4s where they then diverged wildly from each other with retrains/support waves (though they were not as 1:1 with their support and a shared ability between them like the QSD) They have a lot of potential that generic cards have somewhat scratched but haven't quite busted the dam as much as potential dedicated support will.
Thanks for watching! You can, it just depends on game state. I do double Severin Crit usually when the opponent is at least at 4 damage. I did it Turn 3 because I was surprised to Soul Charge a Cristianos lol
@@CommanderJaime it was very fun to play oh my deck list also run a few tide line old cycler and 4 of the g2 rideline in the main deck both g2 and g1 maples for the fun of it

For more jank, you can run the order Ghost Bilk, topdeck your Cristianos from drop and then soul charge them 😂

Whats a good budget card to replace the bracing ladder?
You can play the 4th Nectar or bump up other card ratios. Feel free to experiment with other cards too.
