Parker is a dreamboat. Utterly gorgeous! If you want to keep him, don't let anyone pressure you into selling him. You were the one who had the smarts to buy him and turn him into the amazing horse he has become.
He's your heart horse. You are allowed to keep and enjoy him and just have fun. It's not selfish to keep a horse you trust and feel safe with. Remember - horses don't know what potential is. Don't feel guilty for keeping a nice horse for yourself 😉
Thank you for your comment Allison. I've been debating whether or not to keep my current foster horse and hearing "horses don't know what potential is" might have just sealed the deal for me.
The way you explain it, sounds like you really have a special connection and chemistry with Parker - and I personally really think you two match PERFECTLY! If I were you, I would NEVER let him go. He's defo a keeper, so don't let him go; give him the very best of the best, and keep enjoying each others company:) Also, VERY WELL SAT!! I would never ever have been able to stay on, especially not as well as you did, really incredible seat!
Really enjoyed you working with your horse. What a beauty he has become. What a bond between the two of you. Love that you didn't break his spirit. Thank you.
Great combination horse and rider 😊 Some things you can’t put a price on 💕 These once in a life time horses don’t come along very often ! He is very bold and built to do the job with heart ❤️
My old mare, who I had for 26 yrs before she passed away in her sleep, I had been gifted her. And 2 weeks after I had her going under saddle, the great Canadian Show Jumper Ian Miller came to the barn I was at. There was a schooling show going on, and I did a simple walk trot test. 1 of the judges was my old riding instructor. So instead of being judged by 3 judges, we were only judged by 2, because she knew me and how I rode. We took second place!! 2 weeks after real under saddle work!! Ian Miller came over to me, and remembered me from a clinic at my old instructors barn. He asked about my horse, as he was there looking at a couple others that the barn owner had for sale. He rode her in walk and trot, as I had not done any canter work as she was only 3 1/3 at the time. He offered to buy her from me, for a 5 digit sum. He saw in her what I did. So I told him, Sorry, she's not for sale. Validating for me what I had seen her potential to be. She took me all the way up to competing Nationally at places like Beaumont, Quebec, where Eric Lamaze is, and to Spruce Meadows. They are both International show jumping spots here in Canada. I did breed her to one of Ian Miller's stallions twice. First foal was a colt and that went to Ian, second was a filly, that I kept, raised, trained, then sold to Ian. But he never did get that liver chestnut mare!! She was my heart horse and always will be. Sounds like Parker is your heart horse. Enjoy every minute!! Stay safe from this virus. Wishing you and your family and friends continued Great Health! Best Regards from Ontario, Canada, Jenn
First of all Ally, you are a very talented rider, you’ll definitely go far. Well it looks like you got very lucky with Parker. I don’t know your financial background but I would do everything possible to keep him. He is an amazing jumper, snappy knees, beautiful bascule. Congratulations, yes, you’ve done a beautiful job training him! I also think you should do everything you can to buy that little jack russel, he adores you and you adore him.Try and talk the owner into selling him, make an offer he can’t refuse, you may be surprised.I have a feeling that little pup misses you terribly when you leave. Also I hope someone is feeding those cats. They were desperately trying to find food, even in your horse feed. Kind of sad! So glad I accidentally found your Chanel!
Thank you so much! I would love to have rosie as my own, the only problem is id be breaking the hearts of 2 kids in the process and i just couldn't do that. The cats are fed daily :)
He’s beautiful don’t sell him you deserve him and don’t let anyone pressure you into selling him he’s a horse of a lifetime and they are hard to find x
He sure is a handsome young man and you can tell the bond you have together, its beautiful. It is just the way it should be ..... mutual trust and love and both as equals...... you are doing amazing with him. Thank you for sharing this video and good luck with your future endeavors.
Aw he’s absolutely amazing I can see you have a strong bond with him and he looks happy and settled with you hope there’s big things waiting for you both in the future
Ally, ally, ally! Ive been seeing little updates on this guy on your instagram for a while now but wow its crazy to see all the progress you've made with him laid out! It's so nice to have you chat over the top of the video clips too - it feels like I'm watching them with a friend and just talking to her about her youngster! It definately makes me excited for my young guy. Loved it 💕
While yes its so nice to see him improve and flourish and be fancy and all that, but the best part of this whole video is you're genuine enthusiasm and love for him
A joy to see a nice youngster produced slowly and correctly but with appreciation for the fact he needs to be a horse and those needs being well catered for. In these days of 'it has a jump, lets crack on it and get £££'s ASAP' with no regard for the learning process being consolidated and revised, it's so refreshing to see things done properly, by a decent and knowledgeable rider and all the little issues dealt with thoughtfully and allowances made. The pro can see what you have, and it's flattering when that happens, but usually it's they can see the potential and also the solid ground behind the horse's education and it would be to make a quick profit on a quick sale. But then you don't need me to tell you that! Glad you intend to keep hold of him for now.
Your horse is so gorgeous and I love the way he over jumps every fence it just proves hes enjoying what he is doing and is gonna be a magnificent jumper in the future x
So amazing. Having watched you from quite early on I'm so inspired by you. You produce some amazing horses and your passion is so pure. Keep doing you!
I know I’m late but I realised that for the cross country you were at Dirraw farm and just wondering were you keep him at because my stables is just 40-45 mins away and I have recently bought a unhandled colt and am considering moving btw he is STUNNING🥰😍
It's so amazing to see how the lil baby boy turned into this beautiful young man. You found a diamond in the rough and wow... you polished him. I hope you never have to part ways with him. And if you do, his next owner will love him to pieces as well I bet.
I think I may have been at the meadows that day cuz I remember seeing a horse that looks like that and he looked amazing but it might not have been the same day
I did this with one of the warm bloods at our yard(Wellem)he was abandoned and forced to work but he didn’t like it so when he goes eventing, such as jumping and cross country he always has a moment where he bolts of so we lunge him quickly before anyone goes in the ring so he knows that it’s ok and nothing going to hurt him.But when he has a moment in the ring(very rarely)he always does his best to calm down and I’m thankful to have him and if those people didn’t make that call to us,I wouldn’t have him today...and I’m so glad you decided to get him or you wouldn’t have such a magnificent gelding like Parker.Well down for what you’ve done past these few years(sorry if I’m formal I’m only 11 and my teacher says to right formal lol)
He's so awesome! You did a great job. I think he agrees with me :D You look so good together! Good luck with the showjumping thing and hug him for me :D
Would kill to have an indoor and outdoor arena and stables and space to run like you have!!! Augh then maybe i could actually do everything ive been wanting!
this is amazing! i'm making the switch to english from western so i'm binging all kinds of english riding videos and now i'm even more excited to start.
Oh he’s such a character for sure! It’s almost like when he bucks and kicks, it’s because he’s happy or, “yeah I did that! Maybe not the best but we made it over!” 🤣 Just kinda proud of himself type thing. I love seeing that in other horses because, all of my horse experiences have been terrifying and when horses buck and kick it’s because they are mad 🙁 So I’m happy to see that with his personality and playfulness that it’s just him being kinda happy or a little bit of a show off 😄😃
He loves to show off like i am convinced he knows he's pretty lol i love it too.. he's showing me how much he is loving his work and thats all i want with my horses :)
Parker is a dreamboat. Utterly gorgeous! If you want to keep him, don't let anyone pressure you into selling him. You were the one who had the smarts to buy him and turn him into the amazing horse he has become.
