I truly appreciate you keep ACPG channel strictly music related. There's so many channels disguised for guitarists but actually about travelling to Spain or beatoing about settings of an amp I'll never own.
Really enjoyed this lesson Adrian, thank you! I've been trying to wrap my head around minor keys lately and also the minor ii V i progressions so this was really helpful.
Thanks Adrian, always enjoy your perspective as much as your presentation. It's not about being a Star, but it is about what it really takes to become one, and I love P90s, so you keep reminding me I need to get some.
Adrian, you are becoming my favorite guitar teacher- your lessons are really fantastic. Keep up the good work. (BTW, like the red Vox in the background- an AC15TB? and the Marshall (50W head?)).
I’ve watched the three 7th chord arpeggio videos and you always say there are alternatives to basing on CAGED. How about a video on what alternatives to CAGED are, not necessarily in the context of arpeggios, but would not hurt…
You missed your calling as a part of Monty Python. Born at the wrong time; timing is everything including in music and birthdays. Thanks for your videos!
If you're using triads how do you think about them for m7b5? E.g. If a song is about to switch to bm7b5, do you think "I better play a Dm arrpegio?" or do you know the triad as a bm7b5 triad? I'm just not sure what the best way to learn it is if this makes sense
haha only once you've learned all your minor 7b5 arpeggio shapes...I have actually done an Into My Arms lesson a while back. Might do more later this year.
@@acpg that would be amazing, you're probably my favorite teacher and id be very happy if you did at least a video on how to accompany a singer,in a non boring non generic way like something a little bit more experimental.
May I ask for help here? the problem is that my 1st string always sounds out of tune even though i tune it as usual :/ how can I fix this? btw another great lesson, mr. Adrian :в
good video but how is it an underrated sound? it appears in like 50% or more of jazz tunes and is essential to learn for even a first year jazz guitarist
The YT algorithm will really go wild if you decide to add in a few political comments that in any way divert from a mainstream narrative. Obscurity will be assured.

I agree 100% Pat Finnerty fan by any chance?
That’s a new term I like: “Beatoing”
@ryszard: yes, i've said it before, but i like the simple guitar and amp sound, no fancy processing.
I'm sure we'll see this in the trending section of UA-cam in no time.
Absolutely great. Thank you Adrian. You and Mr. Haugen are the best teachers!
thank you for all the nice lessons!
This. Totally agree. Thank you Adrian ! Keep making content exactly like this. Music focused
That intro made me grin from ear to ear :D Thank you for all your insight!
I love your dry sense of humor.

Love your work man
Every time you put out a lesson. It just has to start and i know I'll like it, lol.
Really appreciate these types of lesson Adrian - many thanks
good morning to you, our favorite musical brit!
excellent vid.
gracias, from texas. :)
I really like your channel, very helpful !
Excellent as always Adrian, thank you!
Weirdos love it. I love the minor 7 flat 5! The D minor 7 flat 5 is in blue bossa... and thousands of songs no doubt love the sound!
I love your content, and your presentation, my Friend! Keep On, Keepin’ On! 👍🎸✌️😎
Please get a turtleneck for future jazz lessons.
Hell yeah I was just thinking about some arpeggios to learn to sound a bit different
another cool video and a truly beautiful looking and sounding guitar
This gets a like from me, I have been using the flattened 5th for decades without ever knowing that it was a thing.
Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🎸✅
I often add one to a pentatonic run to wake peoples ears up.
hahahhaha the algorithm didn't necessarily bring me here for this video but it did find you for me a couple years ago :)
love from canada :)
Great content as always! A Prefab Sprout song next, maybe?
Good job Mate!
Nice tone from that guitar/amp!
Thank you
Cheers for such excellent lessons. Please consider Carl Perkins and T-Bone Walker lessons, not really offered out there to an accurate standard!

These are very good sounds arps so.... thanks for these
Amazing. I love your way of teaching. By the way, could you make a tutorial on Kate Wolf's Across the Great Divide?
I’ve watched the three 7th chord arpeggio videos and you always say there are alternatives to basing on CAGED. How about a video on what alternatives to CAGED are, not necessarily in the context of arpeggios, but would not hurt…
Dude, that was a funny opener.
This is the sound all over the Denison Kimball trio records.
viral hit 😂 🎯 my thumbs are up 🎉

cool guitar
Featuring clam on bass ,naturally…nice.
That guitar reminds me a bit of the Omar Rodriguez Lopez signature.
Using half diminished chords? JEZZ.
Full diminished would be too expensive

Hello algorithm!
Hi , I'm trying to get better use of my arpeggios, where are you based?
Teach us some nick cave songs
haha only once you've learned all your minor 7b5 arpeggio shapes...I have actually done an Into My Arms lesson a while back. Might do more later this year.
@@acpg I ate my vitamins, plz teach us birthday party

A minor 7 b5 is just a half diminished chord,right?
Yeah, or you can think of it as the arpeggio built from a Locrian mode. I guess it depends if you like to stack thirds or swap scales/modes.
I honestly don't understand why guitarists call it the minor 7 b5. This coming from a guitarist..
@@digpotts Tonal reference for solos or melodic content? That's a guess.
Hi , what's your name?
Where are you based?
Thanx Kevin
Dear God, another UA-cam carpetbagger jumping on the minor-7th-flat-5 trend to get exposure. Have you no shame?
😂 yes all those views
it's a lot better than your video, what was the link again?
Second

All I'm hearing is blah blah blah....
i'm sure you are, your brain probably hasn't developed yet. give it time.
