I’ve been following Davis now for about a year and a half. Originally I just liked him cuz we had close to the same name. I’m a passionate lifter and have changed my diet and routine tremendously since I got out of college. Life was not going well, my girl dumped me and I was alone in a state I never truly live in by myself. I started going to the gym everyday and eating healthy for MYSELF. But, with the help of Davis Diley I was able to push myself physically and mentally and I look tremendous because of Diley’s help and motivation. It does take time, results don’t come immediately, you hit regressions, the key is to preserve. For example, I’m suffering from abdominal tendinopathy and I’m going a little less hard than usual but my old self would’ve just not gone to the gym. Not anymore, when I say I love you Davis, I mean it. I would love to meet you one day and just discuss the fitness journey. God bless.

Found you at the age of 46, when I realised it was time to workout properly and really wanted to do something about it. I spent far too long doing mainly upper body only, very little leg work, very little ab work, same thing every day, seldom a rest day. I struggle to take days off, always had a feeling of loss on days with no powerful movement. Late last year, I decided to sort myself out, get bigger, get stronger, get leaner, get legs and get abs. I haven’t yet managed to leave long periods between muscle groups, still battling to a degree, so right now, I’ll do chest, shoulders, legs on a Monday, back, biceps and AB’s the next, same again Wednesday and Thursday, then one or two full body circuits over Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I’m definitely seeing results, best shape I’ve ever been in, but from what you say, I reckon I’m still overdoing it (no steroids for me). I reckon I’m working to the correct degree of failure, based on your workout. Cheers mate, your stuff is impressive, informative, trustworthy, and motivating.

I started taking Creatine about 3 weeks ago (with a loading phase) and am now on my journey to losing 75lbs of primarily fat! After a year of working out without it, creatine has been a huge game changer for my activity levels, intensity, and workout load. I'm hyped to see more of these videos!

you could benefit greatly from deficit barbell rows (bar basically touching your feet) with as wide of a grip as you can handle. they were a game changer for my entire posterior chain development

I've got a question I'm interested in your take on, what do you think about occasional cheat reps say at the end of your set, when you want to squeeze one or two more reps in? Of course not going all out with the cheating, but maybe adding more of a movement.
