How can anyone compete with a five man group that has three bassists, five tenors, an amazing high tenor, and (arguably) five beatboxers (one of whom is out of this world good)?
I’ve got to remember that for the next time I introduce someone new to them: “Hey, check out this a cappella group! They have three bassists, five tenors, an amazing high tenor, and five beatboxers.” “I only see five guys.” “I know.”
@@N9TheNoob Nope tim can reach g0 which pretty much makes him a basso profundo even if u don't classify him as such.I have a vocal coach in my family and she confirmed it but many others did to if u do a little research.
This song is one of my favorites. Your surprise at hearing the switch ups in the voices was great. Tim can sing in a beautiful higher tenor voice along with Austin & Rob. And Chance can hit the lower bass notes when needed. And Adam did a fabulous job as always with his vocal percussion. This song is sung by a woman Cam, so they sung it in a higher key to match the original.
People seem to forget the Chance was the bass in Street Corner Symphony, the group he was with before HF. I caught a clip of the in the Sing-Off the other day and saw Chance has long hair, like pre-quarantine-Tim length. Strange.
Oh boy your shocked look is like all of us Home Fries when Tim went high here! Such talent in this group - it's amazing!! New sub for more Home Free - mayb try End of the Road, One Man Band, Crazy Life 🤪, or any song really. 🎵
"CLEARLY HE CAN", LMAO!!! Yes, clearly he can. That is why people try to get you/others used to Tim's BASS voice before you see WHY he is called a 5 OCTAVE singer. Great reaction.
Chance can sing almost as low as Tim. Several songs, Tim sings the lead either as a baritone voice or like in this one as a tenor. When Time takes the lead this way, Chance covers the bass. Very good how they can cover each other when the need arises.
@@N9TheNoob Agreed. Adam tried to go too low in a part of Brothers In Arms, and it was slightly unmelodic and obviously out of his vocal comfort zone. Possibly he could do it better on other days, but that's singing!
LOVED your reaction!! No need to apologize for pausing at the beginning. The Home Fries have pretty much come to expect that when someone reacts to this video once they realize who is singing and in what register (even from the ones that don't usually pause videos). After watching your reaction to this, I'm subscribing. You're another step closer to 20k. :) Can't wait to see what's next.
FYI: Before joining Home Free Chance was bass for another Sing Off alumnus Street Corner Symphony (check their Hard to Handle and Madness). Also you need to check out the Tim-only versions of Doo Wop like In My Room (Tim makes ALL sounds).
To REALLY get a feel for Tim's high range, check out the collaboration he did with Austin Brown, Chris Chatham and a couple of other fellas (can't remember who. Sorry guys 😎) on their version of "My Maria". The original was recorded by B.W. Stevenson way back in 1974 and later also covered by Brooks and Dunn. And you can't go wrong with Tim's solo acappella doo-wop album "Pieces Of Me".
FYI, Tim now has a Doo-Wop album called "Pieces Of Me". He is now working his falsetto on some old Doo-Wop standards and the Beach Boys song "In My Room".
Just subbed and so glad I did! You are so cute in your great reactions! Thanks for sharing Home Free with us as we all enjoy this journey with them! This is one of the greatest covers they've done in our family's opinion. From our little 4 year old to the old grandmas like me, we love this! It's incredible. And such surprises, we fans can't wait for a reactor to watch it and see how shocked they are! We are blessed by these guys every day! Take care.
Yep, that's why this one gets recommended a lot. Showcasing the vocal ranges. :) OOO, not seeing VoicePlay or Voctave in the reaction mix. So much to see and hear...
Tim (bass) singing in the tenor range is amazing. Then Chance singing bass is great although Chance is a baritone/bass. But their ranges are sick. Love the song and the other boys are great. It’s got a good beat. Good reaction Xed. 😃
If you ever get the urge would love to see you react to Home Free cover of "In The Blood". (all of their stuff is great but you might enjoy that as well)
IF YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW THE SINGERS & THEIR RANGE & WHAT WOULD BE LIMITS FOR OTHER GROUPS ...... you keep saying "DAMN,, HE IS OUT OF HIS AREA" and such ...... but, NO ! He, all of the HEs actually are Lower or higher than expected. That is freakishly BEYOND quality singers .... especially Tim & Chance - as they sing Bass ....AND Baritone & Tenor ..... go find that in another singer .... AND WE HAVE TWO ! Just love these guys - Of course shout out to THE BEST BEAT BOXER .... Adam Rupp - who, by the way , Plays Drums (real ones) Piano and Horn, something else as I recall. HOME FREE !!!! GBjj

I agreed to everything you said. Home Free is awesome…. 🎼🦋🎵💕🎶
@@brendasorenson6186 tim is not a basso profundo, hes a bass or maybe even a bass-baritone

This is why Fries recommend that newbies wait to watch this song. You get it and understand how they switched it up. Great reaction.
You know most these reactors really don’t care lol they just want $$

Tim Foust Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay
That's just Tim showing off the other end of his 5 octive range.
People seem to forget the Chance was the bass in Street Corner Symphony, the group he was with before HF. I caught a clip of the in the Sing-Off the other day and saw Chance has long hair, like pre-quarantine-Tim length. Strange.
Chance wasn't with HF during their run on Sing Off ... Chris Rupp was still filling the baritone role at that point.
@@jasonlangstraat3385 He meant Chance was on the Sing Off with Street Corner Symphony. I believe it was a year or two before Home Free was on.
SURPRISE
indeed :D
Excellent Reaction

5 of the most talented men on Earth.
You should react to Tim's solo single, 'WIll You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.' A small warning though, its been known to cause minds to explode.
Aren't these guys the absolute best?
The way I like to describe it, Tim Foust has 5 octave voice range or from the sub basement to the Penthouse
This entire group just shows off! And shows out!
Home Free knocked this out of the park ❤️👏🎶
These guys are incredibly talented and this is one of my favorite songs ❤️
"CLEARLY HE CAN", LMAO!!! Yes, clearly he can. That is why people try to get you/others used to Tim's BASS voice before you see WHY he is called a 5 OCTAVE singer. Great reaction.
love this group!!
Another masterpiece from Home Free!! Ty for your reaction!! Keep on reacting to Home Free please! Ty!

chance can sing as low as tim, tim just has more resonance and uses bass singing techniques very well
@@N9TheNoob Agreed.

FYI: Before joining Home Free Chance was bass for another Sing Off alumnus Street Corner Symphony (check their Hard to Handle and Madness). Also you need to check out the Tim-only versions of Doo Wop like In My Room (Tim makes ALL sounds).
Tim sang tenor in one of his previous vocal groups. Chance sang bass for his previous vocal group. So it was easy to switch levels.
Time for you to hear Rob take the lead on the End Of The Road Boyz2men cover!

You need to react to more of their music. Found these amazing men over 4 years ago and have been hooked ever since!
FYI, Tim now has a Doo-Wop album called "Pieces Of Me". He is now working his falsetto on some old Doo-Wop standards and the Beach Boys song "In My Room".
There’s a video of Tim and Austin and a few friends singing a cover of Brooks and Dunn’s “My Maria”. It will blow you away.
They are amazing and versatile. Love your reaction!
Tim has a 5 octave range. Sean from Boys 2 Men called him a freak of nature. Tim has said he is working on going even lower
Tim has a 5 octave range and Chance is actually a bass singer. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Salamat, Philippines home of the most beautiful women in the world. ! Imo.
Tim has a 5-octave range, so he can sing both high and low. :) Chance has a 4-octave range, so you will hear him and Tim swap parts.
They are awesome I love mayday they get very good job
Tim can sing 5 octaves! 5 OCTAVES folks!!! That is just nuts!
Tim has a 5 octave voice. I watched a vide where he even sung just below high tenor.
These dudes are so crazy talented. I mean what can't they do?

Best of the Best acapella group ever
"It's like butter!" So true!
Homefree does a cover of" When a Man Loves a Woman" with Austin Brown at the lead, you will not be disappointed, it's outstanding!
It’s said Tim has a 4-5 octave range. His Doo Whop album “pieces of me” is amazing, as his voice does all the harmonies.

He has an amazing range..
Listen to Home Free's cover of Brothers in Arms and Austin Brown's Bring Him Home.
Love this!
I would love to see your reaction to Hillbilly Bone by home free :-)
Hi I'm bob a big voice play fan and I'm recommending you doing the song my mother told me. To start with
you have such a good voice you should send your tape in to them, I saw and heard how you harmonized
No, if you REALLY want to check out Tim's range, watch the vids from his new album Pieces of Me! Just Tim, Bass to Tenor.
✔️🥰🥰
Tim is whatever Tim wants to be.
I actually thought you were going to drop the F bomb when Chance hit the low note. 🤣😂.
LOVE THESE FELLAS❤️
Loved your reaction ❤️

Hey darling, enjoyed your reaction.
Chance's low notes should not be a huge surprise, because he is a baritone and that note is not unusual for a baritone!
Schön,wenn man doch mal überrascht wird.Deine Reaktion darauf macht Spaß anzusehen. 😎👍
Pause as much as you want. It is YOUR reaction channel. They can just get used to it.
Find the original song on UA-cam, you will see that Home Free did the song in the Same Key and range as the all girl group Cam.
SURPRISE!! 🤣
Tim has a five octave range and Adam Chance has a four octave range.
Tim has at least a 5 octave range.
I am starting to think they just draw straws for each video to see which parts they will sing.
guess u can watch tims solo will u love me tomorow/ stay now ; its a lot of fun
Please react to Brothers in Arms. So look good.
He has a 5 Octave range. That helps. Thanks
All hail lord xed
a change in parts for singing really shouldn't be suprising. keeps people engaged and the lead part doesn't always mean second tenor
Not sure how they managed to round up 5 unicorns for 1 group.
WATCH TIM FOUST VIDS WHERE HE SINGS EVERY PART!!!!!
Tim the bass a baritone and do some beatboxing and chance baritone buut take over the bass when tim sing
This song gives you a good vibe? It's about the end of a relationship. To me it's very sad.
Tim has a crazy stupid range and I mean thar in a good way
if only I was a young man again cutie
That's nowhere near as high as Tim can go. Check out the Coney Island song.
When you are reacting... please pause the song. Hard to listen to the music and you at the same time
What is wrong with the video of the group. All edited wrong. Can't watch it.
