I agree, the hardware is very impressive, why can't we just appreciatie this? I already have a fast PC, but with that I can't play games on the couch with my firends. It would be awesome if I could play all Xbox games on PC, so I could play by my self in my room or play on the couch by myzelf in the living room.

Maybe its time i update my PC. built it in 2011 and it was top end AMD. It will cost a bit more than a Scorpio if i build it around the Ryzen but has allot more freedom and can handle the future VR shit. Then ill be set for another 6 years again.

Battlefield 3 ran at 30 fps on consoles? That sucks! I got it for free on origin in 2014 and it always ran well. It only starts to go below 60 once I use 3D Vision.
Having high power is one thing but I knew what would make the Scoprio truly great is how Microsoft intelligently apply that power to bring the best experience possible for gamers. I'm so happy they've done this and cannot wait for the launch. Beautiful hardware.

We'll find out in two months. They revealed the Scorpio specs early so that E3 could focus on games more rather than hardware. Furthermore, enough time has passed for the games that started development after Phil Spencer took over to be close to being done, and everything that man has done so far has been a blessing for the Xbox brand. They seem confident, and I'm excited to see what they have to show.

And the nit drops to price, if the price is gonna be too high, cos this machine's a fucking Tank, so it ain't gonna come cheap and then the games, ps2 was way less powerful than the OG XBOX, but it had games and dev support, so there's not that much to be nervous, still kudos to microsoft for such a masterpiece!

There are already nearly 1,500 games that are playable on Scorpio, including the Xbox One exclusives that were released in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Admittedly, 2017 has been a little light on exclusives so far, but there are more due later in the year, and we know nothing of the ones that have yet to be announced.

Well some people cant afford a pc. Some people want to sit on the couch and play the game. Some people don't want to use mouse and keyboard to play a game. You cant play all games with a mouse and keyboard.
Guess what. My PC is hooked up to my TV, I am using a Xbox One Elite Controller and playing EVERY game with it from my couch in a much much better quality. Mind = blown And guess again, it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Tamed, you can literally do all those things with a PC. And as someone who literally has almost no money, I managed to buy a decent PC that will last me years. You can connect your PC to a TV for your couch gaming, you can use a gamepad in any game with enough tinkering, you don't need M+K. You have no idea how much this console is going to cost, and yet you're going to act like it'll be better than a PC for cheaper, and I don't get your thought process.

This is crazy !! Metroid Prime or even Star Wars Rogue Leader II was running at max resolution ( allowed at the time on CRT TVs ) @ 60fps... Nowadays we got consoles infinitely more powerful and yet we still seek the next innovation... 60fps gameplay..With all the bells and whistles.. Developers could give us 1080p@60fps games on a 360 for crying out loud.. Instead we get games too ambitious to run on current hardware, and only after a remake ( The Last of Us, Unchartded, Halo) we get to play the game as it always should have been.. I grew up with a N64, low framerates were a given, but with each generation successor we get the same old story...Developers should aim for 1080p and 60fps on CURRENT generetion, no matter what. Just because the hardware can push life like still images doesn't mean we should sacrifice gameplay for better screenshots. As new consoles are released, then it's OK to add more effects and realistic graphics. Unfortunately we are too stupid to make our voice heard from the industry...we buy whatever piece of garbage they put out there, only to inevitably re-buy it as a remaster.. How gullible are today's gamers become... It's all a scam to sell you new hardware..now on a yearly base ...😆
To be fair that's the case with PS4Pro and this machine. In that regard you're better off with PC,it's your choice all the way when it comes to resolution,performance,storage etc etc. (PS4,Pro,XB1S,PC,PSVita,PS3,Switch owner)
Over the last few days, I sat down and played right through Gears of War Judgement for the first time. I was absolutely blown away at the visuals People Can Fly managed to get the Xbox 360 to push out. Judgement is roughly four years old now, and it looks and plays as good as many of the games being released in 2017. Arguably, it's a far more technically impressive game than Mass Effect Andromeda. I raise the issue because there are SO many older games which pushed hardware to its absolute limits and the idea of being able to play them on a console designed to make them even better is extremely attractive. I've been a PS4 owner since launch, had zero interest in the Xbox One, but I'm legit hyped about the Scorpio. I intend to buy one no matter what the price. Imagine GTA 5 running in 4k at a locked 60fps, with settings at PC Ultra. I mean, holy hell.

The best games are on the PS4, the Pro is currently the most powerful system, the one selling by far the most and the Scorpio will only push Sony into making an awesome Ps5 when next gen knocks at our doors. We'll find out in two months. They revealed the Scorpio specs early so that E3 could focus on games more rather than hardware. Furthermore, enough time has passed for the games that started development after Phil Spencer took over to be close to being done, and everything that man has done so far has been a blessing for the Xbox brand. They seem confident, and I'm excited to see what they have to show.

Well Colin, first of all its upto devs to figure out how much time do they want to put into a game to make it look good on scorpio, secondly, I bet you, scorpio is gonna be pulled back becos microsoft promised all the games will be compatible on all the XBONES, and it'll be more of a 1080p/60fps machine than a 4k machine(true 4k).
And the nit drops to price, if the price is gonna be too high, cos this machine's a fucking Tank, so it ain't gonna come cheap and then the games, ps2 was way less powerful than the OG XBOX, but it had games and dev support, so there's not that much to be nervous, still kudos to microsoft for such a masterpiece!

There are already nearly 1,500 games that are playable on Scorpio, including the Xbox One exclusives that were released in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Admittedly, 2017 has been a little light on exclusives so far, but there are more due later in the year, and we know nothing of the ones that have yet to be announced.

Tamed, you can literally do all those things with a PC. And as someone who literally has almost no money, I managed to buy a decent PC that will last me years. You can connect your PC to a TV for your couch gaming, you can use a gamepad in any game with enough tinkering, you don't need M+K.

This is crazy !! Metroid Prime or even Star Wars Rogue Leader II was running at max resolution ( allowed at the time on CRT TVs ) @ 60fps... Nowadays we got consoles infinitely more powerful and yet we still seek the next innovation... 60fps gameplay..With all the bells and whistles.. Developers could give us 1080p@60fps games on a 360 for crying out loud.. Instead we get games too ambitious to run on current hardware, and only after a remake ( The Last of Us, Unchartded, Halo) we get to play the game as it always should have been.. I grew up with a N64, low framerates were a given, but with each generation successor we get the same old story...Developers should aim for 1080p and 60fps on CURRENT generetion, no matter what. Just because the hardware can push life like still images doesn't mean we should sacrifice gameplay for better screenshots. As new consoles are released, then it's OK to add more effects and realistic graphics. Unfortunately we are too stupid to make our voice heard from the industry...we buy whatever piece of garbage they put out there, only to inevitably re-buy it as a remaster.. How gullible are today's gamers become... It's all a scam to sell you new hardware..now on a yearly base ...😆

Over the last few days, I sat down and played right through Gears of War Judgement for the first time. I was absolutely blown away at the visuals People Can Fly managed to get the Xbox 360 to push out. Judgement is roughly four years old now, and it looks and plays as good as many of the games being released in 2017. Arguably, it's a far more technically impressive game than Mass Effect Andromeda. I raise the issue because there are SO many older games which pushed hardware to its absolute limits and the idea of being able to play them on a console designed to make them even better is extremely attractive. I've been a PS4 owner since launch, had zero interest in the Xbox One, but I'm legit hyped about the Scorpio. I intend to buy one no matter what the price. Imagine GTA 5 running in 4k at a locked 60fps, with settings at PC Ultra. I mean, holy hell.
