Strong preference for the 01. Hummer EV is not a convertible. It has a permanent roof structure Targa top in front ,t-tops in the rear is not a convertible.
The 01 2 door length is shorter, will have a smaller battery pack and lower range. The 4 door will have a longer wheelbase, bigger battery pack and longer range.
It looks just like a 72' VW Bug with a 36 ford front end tacked on. It's a wee bit more money. My 72' new out the door was $2,800. I do like the English look but at $90,000, I'd rather restore a 67' Austin Healy 3000.
I particularly like the 01, but I think the 84 has much better commercial viability. Looking forward to seeing what Olympian can do
If they make it to profit, id love to see a 70s or 80s styled coupe, get that wedge shape to compliment the 84
I love both of these wacky quirk machines immediately. I would love it even more if the O1 was a drop top too.

GM calls it a "Sky Convertible Top."
Then the 84 also looks to have a permanent roof structure connecting the B pillars. Idk if that would count.
What a brilliant retro design!
At 150 every car turns into an impractical air plane. If that square thing goes 150, it'll only do it once
Those wheel arches on the side of the car are brilliant pre-WWII designs that id love to see on modern cars!!
Looove it
$10 bucks says this will come out before Canoo does anything worth getting excited about. /s
But yeah, I want one of those 87s!
Canoo is always on the list. Unfortunately, us lowly consumers are kind of at the bottom.
Can you do rm1s? please…I’m thinking about buying one
These cars look like the first cars I would design playing Automation for the first time 💀

Do right hand drive! Do right hand drive! Do right hand drive! 😀
Good summary. This company has a lot of groundwork to do still
Don't agree with his love for the junk box, while the retro rod's fantastic in my mind.

I thought the 84 looked like a suzuki jimmy, or a bronco, or a 90's land rover defender. I'm much more interested in the 01
James Bond would drive the Olympian Model O1!
I think everyone is missing the point that this car has no airbags which is required for US sales for new cars. Also $80k is absolute wacky nonsense.
70k ?!
are you still around? :(
recharging =)
@@GearboxPizza ah good to hear!
335 miles / 89 kWh = 3.8 miles/kWh. I don't believe it, not with that shape, at least not at highway speed.
This is understood, b/c it just makes sense to not believe the stats. Still, she's smeXXXy. Some people can't deny that.
Yeah the 240 number is much closer to reality
That is a large profit margin per unit.

Do the Rivian R3x
A $70k golf cart.
$70K? Fuck no.
Hummer is not a SUV, it is a lorry/truck. You would need truck drivers license to drive it and could not drive it on every road if it were in EU.
look like an old romanian ARO
Looks like a Lego truck! 😅
thats more like it
look nice the 2 of them …..but numbers are just lies…
I do not want them! Just not me!
