You can use this wiring connection its safe because 24v to supply is only for Sensor but you can not supply 24v to Arduino just use separate power supply or dc to dc step down converter for Arduino

You don't need anything components,you just need 12VDC 2 Amp power supply or use your laptop charger, just make sure to connect positive and negative wire correctly to sensor is fine

@@savagedragon283 As i mention in above the sensor voltage is always important for safety. Second is the sensor need to be 3 wire mean 2 for positive and negative 1 for Signal out put.It will work perfectly

Actually you dont have to change anything from this code.You can direct use it for that project.Just follow Step by step it will no issue. If not just check your wire because some time bad wire can cause unstable signal.

Hello! I connected the sensor to a 9V battery on the breadboard and it works but the servo keeps twitching and it rotates even if the sensor is not detecting anything.
Maybe your Servo error,to be sure you can try just only Servo first so that you can identify the Servo error or not.otherwire you need to edit the code of Servo singnal pin.
sensor output is directly connected to arduino GFIP pin, it can burn arduino. can you share a practical circuit diagram like with opto coupler etc etc using internal PULLUP resistor ???

simple need relay run conveyor belt motor, on/off. and code only need digitalwrite, pin number output to relay, high or low, code need only if sensor high write output high,

This happen when Servo currently is not enough from Arduino output voltage so I suggest you give extra 5vdc to Servo motor it will solve.

set the delay to a higher value, also the sensor might not be able to get the sufficient voltage. check your sensor's specifications

It's safe .... won't burn Arduino Uno.Becaus it's just transformers the signal only which will make Arduino High or Low

Can i get delay coding for servo motor after metal is detected from 180° to 0° .
Just edit the delay time inside the code will done.
