Indective Proximity Sensor
A inductive proximity sensor can detect metal targets approaching the sensor, without physical contact with the target. Inductive Proximity Sensors are roughly classified into the following three types according to the operating principle: the high-frequency oscillation type using electromagnetic induction, the magnetic type using a magnet, and the capacitance type using the change in capacitance.
Capacitive Proximity Sensor
Capacitive proximity sensors can detect both metallic and non-metallic targets in powder, granulate, liquid, and solid form. This, along with their ability to sense through nonferrous materials, makes them ideal for sight glass monitoring, tank liquid level detection, and hopper powder level recognition. ::::::::::: SUPPORT CHANNEL ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Is there a way to make the inductive senson work for glass?
super super helpful video, told me to choose inductive when having to detect metal that is filling a plastic tube.
Good comparison.. video helped me to choose which one is better for my application.
Can i know the schematic diagram for this . How do you activate the capacitive proximity sensor ?
Can use this sensor to detect the water inside the plastic bottle (LJC18A3-H-Z/BY 1-10mm Capacitance Proximity Sensor Switch PNP NO DC 6-36V 300mA
)
Well explanation, at least we know which sensor can detect what kind of objects.
how do I know the value of dielectric of each material ?
hello, can i see the source code. I have a problem with my project it needs to detect plastic using capacitive sensor but i dont have a code. I hope you will help me
hello, were you able to detect plastic using capacitive sensor?
hello, ma'am/sir, is there any way that the capacitive proximity sensor can only detect plastic components and does not detect the rest kf the materials that doest have any plastic components?
thank you for making such informative video but here i would like to ask that will Capacitive Sensor work on flour/powder base material ?? If we install this sensor on Flour holding hopper and as soon as the flour discharges out of the hopper, will it able to sense it ??
How phase shift an inductive pick up ?
crown cork is stainless steel type of material then how it attracted by inductive proximity and refro reflective photo sensor?
UA-cam is crazy. I literally watch a ton of videos on 3D printing and this never came up when everyone was doing testing.
What type of Ducts do you use Electrical tape for?
Electrical ducting. You use it when slicing through it with a drop grinder to stop it from flying apart during cutting. Works a treat on anaconda conduit too.
anyone knows what sensor can detect water inside the plastic bottle? thankyou
Optical infrared water sensor
Nice video clip, keep it up, thank you for sharing it :)
plz give me the circuit diagram of inductive proximity sensor which uses in this prjt.or give me picture of this circuit
Can it detect paper?
Excelent demonstration
very useful
for the sensors, what brand do you use?
How did you program the capacitive proximity sensor ??
you don't
Hello Sir, Can you tell name about Capacitive Proximity Sensors?
Can the capacitive detect organic waste?
What is switching frequency of this inductive proximity sensor
Well done

what is the output of the capacitive proximity sensor either Analog or digital??
Digital sir
If digital, what will be the voltage ? same operating voltage and current used as the input to the sensor as the signal output ?
it same operating voltage ( 5 - 36V) , Inductive Proximity Sensor Detection Switch LJ12A3-4-Z/BX
Can glass inside water detected sensor
do you have a tutorial on capacitive proximity sensor?
2:05 / 3:13
please answer
does possiple use this sensor to measure different type of material plasic glass iron alumminium
Actually... capacitive type has ability to senses almost everything...but inductive type is only for metallics.
@@MOHDFAISAL-qw8mz I know it, my friend. Capacitive sensors are based on the all or nothing principle. Are there any capacitive sensors that change the output signal (analog) according to each material detected?
I need an analog sensor, please help me
the emblem that the capacitive sensor based on the all-where-nothing principle detects all types of matter but does not change the analog value according to each material
ver short distance.. adjust more distance detection
nice dear briliyent
Can it be used as height controler
could you tell me the model of the sensors?
Please suggest which sensor can be used for liquid or chemical non contact type level sensors

You would want to use a differential pressor sensor with a wet leg.
Hi, can you recommend me a sensor switch that will start solenoid 110v
Hello sir. You can use capacitive/indicative sensor depending on what you want. The sensor to command a 24 volts relay ( contactor), then the relay to command the solenoid valve.
why is my capacitive sensor not detecting plastics
Keep it up girl 💪🙏
hi bro how can you detect plastic on proximity capasitive?
how bout detecting organic material such as paper, leaf etc
Use the capacitive sensor

How to wire pnp sensor in heating furnace
What is the sensor distance range in Inductive Proximity Sensor? Can you suggest any link to buy it?
You can adjust the distance range of the proximity sensor at the back of the sensor. There is a screw which you can turn in both directions to get the the distance range.
Also, there are different sensing ranges and patterns.
the capacitive one nailed it.
What type of sensor is used to detect paper?
capaticitive can detect anything
what can I use If I want to detect only plastic and only iron? can anyone help me
Hello sir. If you would like to detect only plastic, then use the capacitive proximity sensor. And for the iron use the indicative sensor.
@@jollypanzu6975 hello, Thank you for your reply after three years 😀😀
Diodes, who needs them! Find: 'Circuit Solver' by Phasor Systems on Google Play.
DC inductors often need them.
Can you provide the code?
is that a NO capacitive proximity sensor?
Yes, NPN Capacitive Proximity Sensor
@@MakerTutor101 Whats the difference between NPN and PNP ?
Please read this. It would be better to let me explain :)

Every sensor has a circuit diagram on it.
Please makr e car with node MCU+servo for steering
what is the name of sensor holder ?
want to know too
Hello! Just would like to ask for the source code used here in this video.
I thought that capacitive sensors only reacted to non metal materials???
because his testing methods are faulty and he is holding non-capacitive objects with his very capacitive fingers. Thus detecting capacitance of his hand through conduction of the material.

Capacitive is too unreliable for most purposes.
true it detects much more objects but reliability and repeatability is another story :)

That's not supposed to happen. The inductive proximity sensor shouldn't be that bad.
