I always considered this song as just another song on the radio like all the rest of them. But to actually pay attention to the lyrics on your version I was taken aback by the genius of Peter Gabriel that I'd read about but thought was probably "too deep" for my primitive musical understanding. Your version is by far the better rendition and no offence to Mr. Gabriel but the lyrics really get pounded into our brains by yours. When I hear his on the radio I sure do miss those boom boom booms in the chorus that are so beautifully prominent here. Btw, Ive only listened to a handful of your covers. Yeah, but about hundred times for each. God bless.

I've seen that done often with solos on UA-cam to enhance the song but if he does it here it is so subtle and hidden that I don't know which? Either way it sounds awesome but if not than this man is a magician in addition to a superb musician.
