Man, it's been a while since I've heard Amorphis. Great review and awesome tune, this new album is gonna be fantastic. Edit: I notice that you all have a nice audio track playing during your dialog, I like that. I think it helps mellow out any odd silence, really nice touch there.

Wintersun's debut is an utter classic. I don't think we'll get around to their old stuff, but if they drop a new single we might hit on it! Thanks for the suggestion!
I kinda agree with the chorus, it did not POP and maybe felt a little disjointed 1st time, i think they could have tried to slowly change the key before the chorus to make it smooth maybe. But it is a nit pick. Great song though, absolutely STOKED for New Amorphis. The rhythm section on the quiet sections really sounded like Tool imo.

I'd say "old Amorphis" (and the best I might add) is the Karelia/Tales/Elegy -era.
It’s fun to dive back into their old tunes and look at their progression. Elegy era is great!
