    WEST AUSTRALIAN RAIL ROVER
Through our lenses we bring you the romance of steam at its very best through lush green dairy country with beautiful wildflowers in bloom and on into the Jarrah Forests of the Darling Ranges in truly glorious scenery. That unique smoke and steam atmosphere of steam locomotives at work on a cold crisp winters night is captured for you to enjoy once more along with the sounds of yesterdays railways.
    Features:
Mainline steam activity from Perth to York, Northam, Calingiri, Collie, Bunbury, Boyanup, Donnybrook, Toodyay and Gingin. Featuring steam locomotives from classes Pm, W, G, and Dd hard at work in the very best lighting conditions for memorable photography.
See steam excursions through the beautiful scenery of the Avon and Lunenberg Valleys in glorious sunshine.
Visits to East Perth Locomotive Depot and to Collie in the last days of steam, also the early days of preservation includes 3801's visit in 1970 from the 16mm colour archive collection of Jim Gregg.
Spectacular footage of 'The Dwellingup Forest Ranger' along the beautifully scenic Hotham Valley Railway, West Australia's steepest and most spectacular section of railway, enjoying views of lush green dairy country with magnificent displays of wildflowers before climbing the Darling Range into the heart of the Jarrah Forest.
The changing face of the Westrail network as we examine scenes already gone forever with electrification.
We ride on board one of the powerful ex South African Railways Ng15 locomotives of the Bennett Brook Railway at Whiteman Park.
Visit the Hotham Valley Railway's line through the bush to Etmilyn with the 1897 vintage G class steam locomotive recreating the old logging railways of yesteryear as she pounds up Holyoak Bank.

I remembered the Kenwick Railway Overpass at 40:48.
The old Kenwick Railway Overpass used to carried the Armadale Line over the freight line when the freight line used to cross the Albany Highway that ran parallel to the Armadale Line.
When the WA Government built the Roe Highway Extension, they removed the freight line level crossing signals and elevated the Albany Highway over the freight line and did the same at Thornlie when they built the Thornlie Spur to Thornlie Station.

Wash the steam chest fixed on the PM 706 after it fractured at Collie decades ago and was stranded there because of the breakage.
