Great stuff, the old time song being played and sung by the people on the Indian Pacific is “Let the rest of the world go by” a lovely old song and perfect to dance to.

Having been to the Don River railway, it is magnificent. It’s nothing like the big mainland heritage lines, but it is still a beautiful little railway. It’s a shame Tasmania doesn’t have more big heritage railways, as both New Norfolk and Glenorchy have some gorgeous engines and rolling stock, but unfortunately very little line to run on due to the number of public roads the inactive line crosses. Especially in Glenorchy, where there is also no infrastructure to turn locomotives around until either Hobart or Bridgewater. I don’t know as much about the New Norfolk lines though.
When the line to Hobart was active New Norfolk would do rail trips into and out of Hobart, however that ended decades ago.

🙂 Hey mate, we just want to make sure everything is okay on your UA-cam Channel. I noticed from your Play School uploads that the episodes of Bananas In Pyjamas and Play School including the Theme Song, Clocks and Windows segments have been cut out. We hope you haven’t been hacked or anything like that.
If there are some ways you can fix it all. I reckon you can just redo each and every single episode you have by re-recording them on your computer and edit them without any cuts with the Bandicut logo or separate parts along with the Play School segments and the other shows and promos on ABC Kids kept including both the ones recorded in the Mornings and Afternoons. I also suggest that you should also try and re-upload every single Play School episode and the other shows you have recorded of both the years and dates in order so you don’t have them mixed up onto UA-cam or try Internet Archive. I’m just here to help out and you take your time whenever you need to. We would love to see them! Thanks! 😊

One thing that I don’t understand is why old carriages were burned at Junee. Why burn them when you can do them up and use them for tourist trains?

Because there was that many of them. And heritage trains weren't really a thing back then either, so there was no value seen to keeping them in storage on a maybe. That and environmentalism wasn't that thought of either, so it was a cheap and effective way to dispose of old rolling stock.

I think you might have had trouble with the audio during the story about the Gulflander, what happened there?

I've been trying to work this out for years. I even emailed the ABC to see if they had the original credits for the news article but they never responded
