Brilliant filming and music. Always called Arran my second home in the late 70's, just a shame I was too young and daft to see more of the sights instead of bars, always wanted to spend a week fixing that! Will do it some day. Love the dog.

I absolutely love Arran the weather was fantastic when I was there though. Pity it was so cloudy for you all. I met you at Caerlaverock castle on October 5th you were with the guys in the purple camper then too.

We've not been to Arran yet but its on our list :)
We're up in Stirling on the 3rd December for the weekend but you'll probably be too far North by then for a meet-up. Plenty more winter left though for that. Look forward to the next video matey 👍

Ferry to ardrossan is only 5 mins from my house.
The campsite at Lochranza is something else, the deer come of the golf course and walk through the campsite at night. Sure wakes you up when you nearly bump into them going to the toilet.
Ahhh that sounds amazing to have the deer come through the campsite at night.. definitely want to go back at some stage! Thank yo for sharing and hope you're well?

Such a beautiful island and Blackwaterfoot is stunning, the walk along the beach to the cliffs is amazing! Def worth a second visit, even me and the dog are planning to go again

Nice to see Arran again Rob as I camped around the island in 2008. Didn't get to see the places you have filmed so a bonus there. Beautifully filmed with a nice atmosphere 👌 spot on mate. I remember the ferry costing me £72.00 for a return ticket back then for my car. I bet it's a bit more now.
Chatting to a friend who lives there, the ferry costing had to drop to being back tourism... so now its about £40 for a return ticket... Lovely island though and could have easily spent longer on there!

Lovely video mate. I know Arran well. You managed to capture it's beauty very well in your video and definitely did the Island justice. I loved watching it.

Arran is a magical place. It's somewhere every kid should visit . There's so many great things to see. I've said to Gary in a comment before. He's giving Amika such a rich and exciting childhood. I always nod my head with respect every time I see the experiences he's giving her.
Good luck with the rest of your Scotland trip 👍 . Btw, how long were you on Arran?. It's great to spend a few days on the island in Summer. Climb Goatfell with Archie if you want an extra challenge .
Hey mate, I spent 10 days on Arran, I did go up goatfell on one of the days with a local friend who works mountain rescue… weather was horrible and we got a call to go collect a tent and bags that people had left on the mountain… hopefully one day I’ll be able to go back and summit that peak.

Yea, definitely, its worth climbing in good weather. You get great views from the summit on a clear summer day. Good luck .
Should have gone from Lochranza to skipness
We did plan to do that route, but something else came up and we all had to get back to Ardrossen for the Monday.. hopefully one day I can go back and do that route.
