Love this video. Have a question for you mate. @20:42 , those 3 notes ( E. F# & G) where you do a quick phrase with them. When you play that at song speed, do you pick every note or do you hammer on a bit, since its so fast?
Thanks Michael. If they're the notes I think you're talking about (the notes at 20:02 maybe? not 20:42? The notes at 20:42 are C, G, and D) then probably a better picker than me would pick them all. However I would tend to pull and hammer them, but only because it's easier. the tradeoff is you have to make sure your hammers and pulls are strong enough to keep the notes loud and even, which is a challenge in itself. I've never really been a speed picker: I've always preferred the legato approach and lean towards hammering and pulling off the notes. Hope that helps, mate!
