Yo it'll be so awesome to try to figure out the story by reading item descriptions and looking at the open world and getting snippets from npcs... It's gonna be awesome
SoulFail. Looks like a bullshit. The gameplay and the idea looks already too hackneyed, and the graphics of 2012 can only impress a player with Play Station 4.
Srsly, DE, just bring back the good times of games like Darkness 2 or Unreal Tournament...
I'm not a hater, I've been playing Warframe since the beginning of the PTA. But this game will be your next failure, just like KeyStone, cancel before it's too late.

DE to me has always been really good with their musical scores they put into their game.
WF have good music. It just because of it ruined pacing (always in rush) we are missing it.

Warframe is already an incredible artwork of sci-fi vision and story, I can't wait to see that magic come to life in something completely different like Soulframe!
Warframe will always hold a special place in my heart for having some of the the best Gameplay, Lore, and Aesthetics. It's grown so much over the years and pretty incredible how the devs nimbly adapted, always pushing the game forward in unexpected ways. Excited to see a new IP from a Studio that has clearly learned from their efforts and gets to start with a clean slate.
In December of 2012 I saw an ad banner on a website for Warframe. I clicked on it and checked it out and then signed up for the closed beta because it looked unlike anything.
It felt fresh.
And in Soulframe... I can see all the various aesthetic inspirations and yet it doesn't feel like Vikings or the Middle Ages or ancient Greece or Rome or feudal Japan.
It feels fresh.
the way the sword plunged with force after they let it go was such a powerful effect - this cinematic was phenomenal
That sword drop at 4:10 always gives me chills
No - the best part is 5:04 when the bird lands right in front of the suspicious, freed wolf. Are they communicating? Is the wolf surprised? Is this part of something much, much larger?

You can see the Warframe influence in the golden mask, armor and symbols at the very start.
I really hope the combat is slower and much more methodical though, with more thought put in to each movement. I love Warframe, but the hyper speed, particles going off and the sheer pace of that game can become fatiguing.
Looking good though guys, real good. So hyped for this.
One thing that makes me excited is that this looks like either just the assets, or the whole thing was made in-engine. Which means that the game itself could have some trailer level cutscenes!

I wonder if DE will do simillar thing like Final Fantasy does. When they have characters in deferent games being very diferent people but sharing same name. So having someone named Clem as an NPC in Soulframe but with very diferent character design. That would be nice touch.

This is beautiful and I'm already in love with it.
I just realized the keys that are on the moose antlers are probably what unlock the metal case around his arm. And maybe they unlock more abilities as you find more keys since there are key holes on the blue arm as well.

You have so much experience of warframe to put into this game, as an independent developer, so in theory there is no overarching cringy boxticking decision board to screw up your game. It is just your creativity, skill and of course budget. Im sure its going to be awesome.

dont know what to expect from this game, but im sure hyped for gameplay!!!!
I'm really looking forward to this game. I like that, since the first time I saw it during tennocon, there's been a feel to the video. One of familiarity. Others often mention it feeling to them like being similar to things that I have no experience with. But it just sort of resonates, anyhow. Maybe it's just because I grew up out in the sticks...

This is amazing and I only hope that you will not repeat the same crap as you did with Warframe regarding new player experience. I really hope this will be guided by the game and not by wiki and youtube ... It is simply shitty to constantly alt+tab between wiki/youtube and the game, simply cause you wanna believe that everybody knows what you are creating before they are made. If this does include a guided new player experience, I am truly on board with you and waiting for the release of Soulframe.

For some reason the executor at the beginning remind me of styanax a lot. The head and tunic on one side especially.
If the game has the exploration of BOTW/Genshin, a dynamic music system with that kind of OST and the art direction we see here that ressemble the one in Warframe. Man what a dream-game !

I'm hoping this sees the return of some form of the stamina system. I would never give up bullet-jumping in Warframe now that I've had it, but the movement options on some tiles were so much cooler and impressive when you had a stamina gauge.
Eh... Until you get chased by baddies and die cause you ran out of stamina... Or have to chase something down and keep failing cause you ran out of stamina... Stamina just adds an unnecessary level of difficulty. Especially in open-world games. It somewhat makes sense in horror-survival games, as that make it harder to just run away from everything. For action/adventure games, it tends to be one of those mechanics that's just more of a pain in the butt than fun.
Since this is gonna be an MMO it stands to reason there's gonna be some sort of energy/mana/stamina management system for abilities.
@@vladyvhv9579 I mentioned the stamina system because Warframe used to have one. You could mod a Warframe to increase your stamina bar, but it limited run time. While I don't miss having running limited, the secondary benefit was that wall running couldn't be done infinitely. Your movement paths mattered more when a mistake meant you missed a shortcut.

I honestly hope it's a more knightly/magic type fantasy with some mechanical things and not a space fantasy type, don't get me wrong I completely love Warframe but I feel like we need more knights and magic type games.
