    I tweaked my groin doing hill sprints Monday Night so this is great - thnaks.When you are close to your pain tolerance - are you doing good things or potentially making injury worse? We are always told if it hurts at all dont do it.

      There are studies showing that exercising within tolerable pain limits can be beneficial on short-term (Smith et al....forgot which year). So with patients and myself I try to push into the pain and stop in case of shooting pain, probably at NPRS 4-5/10 max.

    I had my first tendon injury late last year. I went from playing once a week to 2-3 times a week and was ignoring my adductor crying for help.
    Played a match a week after being injured (didn't know at time adductors). 2 months later still not playing again yet.
    Listen to your body people and take it easy.

    I love your guys videos! I just found out that you have an app where everything is in one spot. Is there any way that you would consider doing like a week free of subscription or some kind of sampling before purchasing?? I would definitely get the bundle, but if I can come to UA-cam and get the same thing then I don’t really want to gamble with the $55 just to see what it has. Thank you!! So grateful for you guys!

      Videos on the assessment app can be found on UA-cam as well. The MT App contains manipulation techniques that are not in YT. the assessment app contains more information beyond the videos such as writteb instructions, statistics, direct links to PubMed, favorites etc. It's just so much easier to navigate. You can purchase apps and return ask for a refund within 48 via Google/apple

    Sir did you use ice for pain relief? how you relief your pain?

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  3 роки тому +1

      Pain is minimal, so no need to relief pain. Don't have any problems during rest or ADLs. Just used ice in the first 5 minutes after the injury to basically play the last game.

      Why I asked this question is, PEACE AND LOVE says avoid Ice too. Is it practical?

      Check the link in the description for the article of Serner et al. (2020). It's free access.
      First management was 5 minutes of ice, nothing else. I was trying to load the adductors from day 1 on as much as possible.

    I’d put good money on your chance to reinjure if you return on Wednesday. Doing great work though

      Haha, yeah you're probably right! Gonna do the clinical pain-free criteria testing later on and if I don't pass there is no way I can return to tennis safely

    What do you think about osteopathy? Could it be a good choice to follow for a young physical therapist? Thanks

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  3 роки тому

      We have limited knowledge about osteopathy so we're probably not the best person to ask. To our knowledge a lot of concepts are not evidence-based or have a questionable evidence base so for us it's would not be a good fit.

      We want those VLOG videos to be a bit more dynamic and less sterile like our clinical videos.
