I've had a lot of luck lately with a glide bait or swimbait on braided line to make it sink slower. Running it right on the bed and slow sink down. Awesome video as always and some beautiful large heads!!!
Doesn't braid not affect sink rates? Wouldn't mono be the play if you wanted a slower sink?

LFG I saw a big female have her “safe” place Thursday there was a shallow sunken boat and I saw her dart out and eat a fish by her bed and then whenever I got close she’d hide under it. But there were 3 other bed fish around that one and I caught a 3.5 and 6 and both the males by those beds on a 3” wacky senko on BFS gear. It was awesome. I caught the female first once and the other times I caught the male and then the female. They were guarding fry though. The eggs had already hatched and minnows were everywhere.

so i don't have much for clear water where i'm at. but i've taken alot of things you guys have said and incorporated it into my fishing. well as of monday i have a new pb. i went from a 3 1/2 to a 8 1/4. all down in southern illinois. where around here a 8 is a giant!!

One of the best vidoeos, you've made. When i first saw these huge half pound imitators of fish, I first thought, California, Texas, Florida Amazon. He said 2 and halfpounders will hit this. I havent tried it yet, but I'm certain throwing live shrimp to any freshwater fish will drive them nuts. Any of you tried it?

Can you talk about the fan casting technique with the wacky rig? I only know of it as a vertical presentation. You seemed to be pumping it horizontally.

LFG great channel and content so much awesome information, please consider the impact you have on youngsters that are watching your videos when you get going on the big motor not wearing a life jacket or passing on the information of the importance of the jacket and a lanyard to a kill switch. Always a great day when one gets to watch you enjoy life.
