Hi! Amazing tutorial, but I noticed that at 8:57, you mentioned to press and hold the B button to open the environment loader; this should actually be the X button, not the B button!
Thanks. I had to bring up his older video to see that it is the x button the second time
My is the opposite B takes me to Environment Loader and at 7:50 he said B but it should be X.

yeah I got derailed by that one. Now I don't know where Im at. now it says "Don't run the EnvironmentLoader twice......" and the Mii Maker doesn't do what they say it is supposed to. I would recommend people find another guide....
B button or X does not work for me . X button keeps opening and closing the dam curtains on the Wii u!
There is no Wii, there never was a Wii, and without Mii there wouldnt even be a U.

Thanks so much! I’ve been trying to jailbreak my WiiU for a while and wasn’t successful. But it’s finally working! I don’t think I did it exactly correctly because I have to open heath and safety and then mii maker to open the homebrew option but it works anyway. Thanks again!

How come the files I download are the same as Blaine’s but when I click into them, for example the udfine folder, I don’t see the same “wiiu” folder that he sees? I see an apps folder and then the udfine, and then inside that is 3 other files.
I dont have the screen where it asks to go to the installer or terimisu it just goes straight to the payload installer

I'm glad I did that to my Wii U. And I have Aroma too. I think I like that more than Tiramisu. Only thing is that I can't use RetroArch with Aroma so I have the WUDs for the emulators

Great guide, got my Wii U jailbroken easily thanks to you! The only problem I have is when I try to use the nanddumper, it hangs on a white screen when I press A to run it. I leave it alone for a few minutes, but nothing happens, so I have to hold down the Power button on the console to force shutdown. This has been tried with 2 different SD cards. Any insight?

Mine keeps saying insert a FAT32 SD card but here’s the catch….it is formatted to FAT32 and checked about 10 times

Hi Blaine, I've got a question for you, I'm planning on modding my Wii U, I had soft modded my Wii first gen back in 2010, I no longer have the console but I still have its 1TB external HDD with all my Wii and Gamecube games installed on it; I really don't remember what was my CFW and the apps I've used and installed since it was so long ago. But I was wondering if I could plug my HDD in a modded Wii U and if it would read the games installed on it?
Would it work the same way on a japanese wii u?

I have a JP system, but I don't know what to do. I recently bought an old Japanese Wii U. The only problem is that it won't let me back up my nand on the wiiuexploit website. For some reason, my screen freezes, but it doesn't do anything. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to work around this issue or an alternative way to mod a JP system. My current goal is to jailbreak the system and then remove the region lock on the console. Does anyone have any answers or suggestions on what I should do with the system?

The Wii U will only be able to read FAT32. I’m assuming your SD card is larger than 32 GB which would explain why windows won’t let you format it to FAT32. You can format it as FAT32 with GUIFormat
What if you have an external drive attached to your Wii U. Do you still need an SD card?

what da problem? is your wiiu saying how its far from the console and but its close? because the way i fixed it was turning off the wii u, disconnecting the wiiu stuff for 15 seconds then reconnect turn on the wiiu then should be fixed if it does not work then idk see like funky scotts tut on how to mod a wii u thats how i modded my wii u@@prevident8521
I keep getting a message saying missing file right after you launch the Wiiuexploit… I’ve checked tons of times and all the files are correct on the sd card

Whats the best homebrew for the OLED switch? I recently got one a week ago and did update the OS so will have to downgrade for sure. I know the OLEDs are harder to mod than the vanilla model so I'm wondering where can I find all the tools I need to get started. The reason for modding it is OCing it, themes, and to dump my physical card games on a micro SD. Also will I get banned if I go to the switch store or if I play online?

@@CheckmateStallioNI believe you can mod it but you'd have to install a modchip from what I've heard
The only way to mod both Switch Lite and Oled is by installing a mod chip physically. If you want to softmod with atmosphere via the right joycon exploit, you'll need a V1 unpatched which is pretty much a day one Console.

I have an older softmod installed on my Wii U. I did it several years ago and I don't remember which one I did. I have to press and hold the "B" button while tapping the homebrew launcher in order to get into the mod. I have an external hard drive with my games on it. What do I need to do in order to get Tiramsu installed? Do I need to revert it back to factory and start all over or is there an easier way to update it? I'm also worried about the memory error bricking my console at some point.

hey so i did everything and it worked, but when i went to go back up my sd card, there was nothing on it.. i had my wii homebrew stuff on there too and now everything is gone. is there any way i can recover that?
also, when i launch the mii maker now it doesnt launch the homebrew channel. i have to power off my wii u and then select homebrew channel to use it
