I think the price difference is just because Super7 didn't start raising their prices on the bigger figures until after wave 7, Robotic Bebop was part of wave 7 when the preorders went up originally, while Robotic Rocksteady was wave 8 (when they started really raising prices). But waves 8 and 9 came out before wave 7, so the original preorder prices of wave 7 (from 2 years ago) still had to be honored, I'm sure if Robotic Bebop was in wave 9 or 10 he would have been 65 instead of 55. Or... super7 is just nuts lol
Agreed! at first I was thinking id wished they were both Rocksteadys silver color, but as I posed and displayed, I like the differences in the colors. Thanks for watching.
Brian kind of hinted in an interview (probably with Nick when he was at the Fwoosh) that they kind of undercharged Bebop (and probably Triceraton too). I'm curious if that had anything to do with the incredible delay on wave 7 if they had to more aggressively shop the project around to a factory that would do it, or maybe they got a favorable deal in exchange for their work being less of a priority. We never did get any feedback or news about why the the seventh wave was delayed so long, but at least it turned out pretty well. Usually those long delayed figures don't have a happy ending and the consumer got a better deal on these larger figures.
I bought robotic rocksteady for $55 at a comic book shop back in May. Such a great figure. It's my only fully articulated super7 ultimates figure, and I'm very impressed with it. Now I have to get bebop to go with it.

I love the darker titanium finish on Bebop! I kinda wish they had done that for Rocksteady, too--he's so clean and bright it comes off as aluminum.
