Dearest Steve Morse Sir . I have just read that you have left Deep Purple .My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.Thank you for the greatest guitar solo arrangment ever in rock music, from beginning to end.Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming has the best guitar solo ever.It plays on my mind everyday since I first heard it in 1996.By the way , I met you once at Singapore Changi Airport. You are a good man.You made the world a better place with your guitar.God bless you and your loved ones Sir Steve Morse.Love and Prayers.
this solo IMHO competes very well with David Gilmour's "Comfortably Numb" in the category of musical greatness, intensity of expression, and uniqueness of each performance. just FYI: i'm a huge fan of both Deep Purple (in all its personal variations) and Pink Floyd, particularly David Gilmour. I've listened to many live versions and covers of David's solo and i do stand in my opinion that Steve created something monumental, something on the same level as David plays.
Interesting comparison, in fact just yesterday I told my guitar teacher I wanted to learn this song because it’s real melodic, just like Comfortably Numb

Saludos
let me know who is doing vocal ?
@@madhuvasudevan6070 La voz clave del grupo: Ian Gillan. Salute...
Blackmore, morse,Bolin great guitar 🎸 players.
Steve Morse great guitar!
This song has become a Deep Purple classic . I love Jon's cute
little piano solo before the guitar onslaught .
Such an amazing song
the guitar solo is just amazing
There are plenty of songs that are so underrated like Son of Alerik if I dare but this one....wow its completely legendary and perfect
Amazing velvet solos from Steve Morse that fit perfectly the melody of this sentimental piece from DP. It is OK to be sentimental guys, dont panic :) These legends know when and how to be sentimental.
Espetacular.
Do you know Riverside? Listen to Second Live Syndrome, Piotr Grudzinski's final solo of the studio version, but his live play was also breathtaking. His emotional play at Conceiving you, The same river, The curtain falls and many more still gives me wet eyes sometimes.
The guitar, piano, song, great sound can only be DEEP PURPLE👏💜😍 DEEEEEEEEP!
Amazing song, amazing band...Maestro Steve Morse❤❤❤
My fave band ever, seen them live so many times...Ian Paice / Deep Purple In Rock made me take up drumming over 60 years ago, God Bless and thank you Paicey!
brilliant
THIS GUTAR SOLO....After hotel California...the best ever played!
