Me replacing my iPhone 6 battery and modding the LED for the Apple logo. Recorded on GoPro Hero4 Black at 1080p 30fps Narrow FOV.

This is the only video I have seen that properly shows how to use the "pull strip" adhesive. I pried a battery out and was thinking "wtf" why such a strong adhesive. Also was thinking why are these flimsy little tabs on the end of the battery. It all makes sense now.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO! My battery capacity is at 65%, and I didn't want to risk it swelling but just found out the logo light mod! SUPER HELPFUL!
You should ALWAYS disconnect the battery before disconnecting the display assembly. Even powered off, there is voltage flowing through vcc_main which can result in a short while removing or reconnecting the display cables.
Yes you are correct, I wasn't as knowledgeable as am I right now so I noticed a few errors in my videos, thanks for commenting.

hi i just tried this mod and mine did the top left screen had a fading dim as if power is being taken on that part how do i fix it help please... thanks
Hi, yes I have that effect too. I think it's normal but I see some people on UA-cam that don''t have it. I think it depends the power it takes from different qualities of LEDs. It's a minor problem, but I will try to get rid of it on my phone and probably make an update video on it. :)
I took it off and tried connecting again i dont know why but the led is not working anymore. So i didnt install
maybe the connection is not well (clean the connections with some alcohol) , be very careful and try again if u wish to do so

Hi Mateo, yes it fits perfectly flush with the housing, make sure u tell the seller the exact phone u have.

Hi, yes the screen still works without the shield and the screws, but i wouldnt recommend because the display connectors are not secure and it can pop off without the shield and screws

I’m fuckin pissed because I’ve gone through 3 logos, they all have issues 2 won’t light up and the other one flickers. They’re from the unlocker as well.
I feel you man, maybe getting it from another source will be better?
