I listen to Homefree, The Bass Gang, the Dead South and others but VoicePlay is my favorite group and Geoff is my favorite soloist 😊 thank you for your reactions.
I really enjoyed your reaction- thanks! Yes, I enjoy all the acapella groups but Voice Play is special to me because they work completely independently without a record label or contract by choice so they have complete control of their creative expression. They filmed this one in the back parking lot where the loading dock to their studio (PattyCake Productions) is located at the Oviedo Mall outside of Orlando Florida. Beatboxer, Layne's, father has owned that car since it was new. The black gentleman with the red jacket in the center is J. None, a former member that left to join the Navy. J. None is still active duty military but comes back frequently as a featured guest when he is available (you will see other featured guests when J. None is not in the videos). Glad you enjoy Voice Play and I look forward to more of your reactions to Voice Play and solo Geoff Castellucci.
“In the Air tonight” was my decent in the VoicePlay Rabbit hole. I wanted the Original added to my Playlist, which was- until that time- managed by my son. But he told me, to learn how to do it myself. So, I discovered UA-cam and the Search function. And paid no attention to the position my cursor landed on. I clicked and before I could realize my mistake, autoplay did it´s magic and I was caught by VoicePlay.
I love the Original (especially the Live version from the Farewell Tour), but I love VoicePlay´s version too. It depends on the mood I´m in, which one I listen to. To think they did such a fantasic work, without drums and bass guitar? WOW!❤

It isn't that I never listen to HomeFree or Pentatonix, or any other genre of music.
But Voiceplay is just special. Since they do it all themselves, they take risks that other groups won't. They are financed almost exlusively by their loyal patrons.

I 'm a Pentaholic, Voiceplayer & a Home Fry! I love them all! Talents almost beyond belief!! This song is one of my favorites from them. I also love Mr. Blue Sky, Nothing Else Matters and all of there AcaTop 10 videos (especially movie themes). God bless!

First of all, I'm a VoicePlaya, but there are other groups that I indulge myself - say The Bass Gang, Voctave (who I got to see in person when they were at FSU for one night), Home Free, Dan Vasc (not acapella) and Pentatonix. For some silliness try Survivor: Zombies vs Hillbillies (VoicePlay vs Home Free). VP did some ACA Top Ten videos that they sit in chairs or stools with a microphone and choose a subject for the Top Ten such as ACA Top Ten Movie Themes (for this one they brought in Rob Lundquist from Home Free), Video Games, Disney Villains, Disney Sidekicks, Disney Heroes, Broadway, and so many, many more.
